"Shawn." I mumbled, running my fingers through my hair. A loud sigh escaped my lips as I tried to finish with some of the bills.

I looked up at Shawn, seeing his head hung low as he looked down at the scattered papers all over the kitchen table. His teeth sunk down in his bottom lip, resting his forehead on his hand.

"It's just too much, Angela." He spoke, covering his face with his hands.

Moments later I began to hear our new born daughter begin to cry from upstairs in the bedroom Shawn and I both share. "I got her." He mumbled, standing up and going upstairs.

I looked back down at the papers all over the table and sorted through everything.

Shawn then came back down with our little his sleeping peacefully in his arms. I smiled softly.

Tears began to form in his hazel eyes. One trickled down his cheek. "Why are you crying?"

He grabbed my arm and pulled me up and into his side, keeping his arms wrapped around my waist and the other holding our daughter.

"I'm going to try harder. To support the both of you guys. You are my whole entire world." He whispered, letting more tears leave his eyes.

"It's going to be okay. Well get the bills done and over with, it's okay." I told Shawn, rubbing his back gently.

He tensed up at my touch but soon relaxed.

"I just feel like I'm not doing well and that you are going to leave me because I can barely support myself and-"I stopped him by placing my finger on his lips.

"Don't say that. I'll never leave you, Shawn. I love you. It's going to be okay. We are going to be okay." I reassured him.

He kissed me then kissed our daughter's forehead.
