I sit on the floor of the bathroom, my face in my hands. I swallowed the lump in my throat, holding back the tears that were threatening to pour from my eyes. Thankfully my boyfriend, Shawn, wasn't home so I finally had the time to get done what I needed to do: take a pregnancy test.

It's not confirmed if I'm really pregnant. I haven't looked at the test that's lying on the bathroom sink. I don't have the strength to look at it. But I know I'm gonna have to.

After waiting a few more moments, I stand up, grabbing the test. I looked down and saw red lines. I'm pregnant. With Shawn and I's baby. The scariest part is how he'll react to it. What he will think.

"Honey! I'm home." I heard him call.

My eyes widened and I splashed some cold water onto my face to try and make it look like I haven't been crying. But my face was still red and my eyes were puffy.

"Sweetheart, are you okay?" He asked, walking into the bathroom. I froze as did he. His eyebrows knitted together as he looked at me and the positive pregnancy test on the sink.

This was the first time I was unable to read him. I broke down in tears again, not being able to hold the amount of stress I had together. He pulled me to his chest, swaying side to side, trying to calm me down.

"I'm not mad. It's gonna be okay." He whispered, stroking my hair.

I looked up at him and he wiped the tears from my cheeks. I sniffled, holding onto his hands. "But we're too young and you have tour and music and it's gonna be hard and–"

He cut me off by placing his index finger on his lips, stopping me from rambling on. "I will make this work okay? I'm never gonna leave you. I promise. We're gonna be okay. I will make sure of it. I love you."

I smiled, leaning m head against his chest. "I love you." He kissed my forehead a few times, rubbing my back.

"Now get cleaned up so we can have a lazy day. We're just gonna watch movies and cuddle all day, okay?" I nodded at his words and he exited the bathroom.

"I'm gonna be a dad. This is so exciting." I heard him whisper to himself. I smiled and looked at my reflection in the mirror.

I truly do love this man.
