"Shawn." I whispered quietly, shutting my eyes which caused a few tears to trickle down my cheek. "Just please, don't leave me. We can fix this."

He stared back at me, his eyes filled with nothing. His facial expression showed no remorse. He didn't care. I knew he didn't. But I still craved the love we shared many years ago.

"How can you just stop loving someone that easily." I said through gritted teeth.

I wasn't sure if I was hurt or angry. Maybe a mixture of both. The clap of thunder raged outside and rain began to furiously pour.

"Say something!" I screamed at him. Although the darkness in the house made it hard for me to see him, I could sense his eyes clouding with the color black as he grew furious with my yelling and crying.

"I don't know, y/n! I just don't fucking love you anymore, okay!" He screamed at me, slamming my body up against the wall as if I were some worn out rag doll.

I winced in pain as I felt the corner of the desk slam into my left rib cage. He gripped onto the collar of my shirt.

Tears streamed down my face, the rain still whipped furiously and the thunder still raged outside.

"Our love is all over darling. I don't love you anymore."

I shot up, gasping for air. I looked over at Shawn's resting body beside me. I sighed in relief that it was all just a nightmare.

Shawn's hand moved up and down on my back but I flinched. "Are you alright, baby girl?"

I laid back down beside him, stuffing my face into the crook of his neck. "I had a dream where you didn't love me anymore."

"Oh princess that'll never happen. I'm madly in love with you. I'm here. I'm always going to be here." He reassured me, planting a soft and sweet kiss on my forehead.

He wrapped his arms around me. I felt safe in his arms. My eyes started to become heavy as I grew tired by the minutes. I closed my eyes and let my body fall into a deep rest.

"I love you, y/n. Forever and always."
