THERE WAS A LOUD KNOCK ON HER DOOR, CAUSING HER TO JUMP AND SNAP HER HEAD TO FACE THE HALLWAY WHERE THE DOOR WAS. She slowly tossed the throw blanket to the side, standing up and walking to the door of her apartment. She unlocked the door before opening it, her eyes going wide as she looked at the guy in front of her.

Hazel eyes

Chocolate brown hair

Pale pink lips

He looked at her, the familiar hazel eyes staring in to hers, a slight twinkle of hope burning in his pupils. But still, the look in his eyes were dull yet broken, all of his feelings plastered on his face. His lips parted as he went to say something but no words seemed to come out.

She stared at him, her heart racing in her chest. Licking her lips, she glanced down at the floor before meeting his eyes again. "What're you doing here?"

"I just couldn't stop thinking about you," He whispered, his voice raspy and strained. "I need you. I regret walking away that day. I'm so sorry."

She sighed, taking his hand in hers and brought him inside, closing the door behind them. He looked around, seeing everything was still the same from before he left. Seeing that everything was the same. He stuffed his hands into the pockets of his black jeans, keeping his head hung low.

"Everything is still the same." He mumbled, keeping his eyes anywhere but her. "Thought it would all look different after I left."

"Yeah well I guess not everything can be about you, right?" She spoke slightly bitterly, glaring into the side of his head.

He swallowed hard, turning his head to look at her. "I don't know what I am feeling but all I know is that I never stopped loving you. I thought I stopped because I stopped thinking about you for a couple of months after I left but the feelings came back out of nowhere. It's been hell without you."

Her heart dropped to the pit of her stomach and she took a deep breath, looking away from his sincere eyes. She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to give him another chance just for him to leave and break her all over again. But she also, so badly, wanted to forgive him and take him back. Her feelings were the same but after he was gone. Then slowly, she was moving on.

Now, coming back all of a sudden, came to her as a shock and was taking a toll on her. One that she didn't like. She grew nervous as he took a few steps over to her, his eyes never leaving hers. Her breath got caught in her throat and she felt the cold surface of the wall on her back, both of his hands on either sides of her head on the wall.

His body towered over her small frame, his forehead resting against hers. Both of their eyes were close and his deep desire came to play. Closing the gap between them, his lips pressed against hers, sharing a slow yet rough kiss.

All of the feelings they had came out through their kiss and her arms wrapped around the back of his neck, pulling his body closer. Both of their hearts were pounding in their chests, not once breaking the kiss. His hands travelled down to her waist, squeezing them gently. Pulling away as soon as she felt a lump in her throat, tears brimmed her eyes as she looked up at him.

His lips parted and his shoulders dropped in guilt. He brought his hand to her cheek, caressing her skin softly. A shaky breath left her lips as she tried to control the tears from falling and what she was feeling. But all of her feelings were all over the place and she didn't know what she was actually feeling. She mentally cursed herself as she spoke and decided quicker than she wanted.

"Please stay." She whispered, her voice cracking. "Don't leave me again. I need you too."

"Oh baby girl." He mumbled, backing away and pulling her with him, holding her close.

Wrapping one arm around her back and the other around the back of her shoulders, holding her tightly and protectively. This was always the way she liked to be hugged. It made her feel safe and loved.

She wrapped her arms around his torso, the side of her head resting against his chest. She listened to the steady rhythm of his heart beat which seemed to calm her down. Closing her eyes, her hands clutched onto the hoodie he was wearing, afraid that he would walk away again. That he would just leave.

"I'm not going anywhere, darling. I promise." He whispered, pressing a kiss on her head. "I'm never gonna let you go."
