*Charlotte's POV*

"Your birthday's tomorrow," Julie cheered. I groaned.

"Don't remind me," I mumbled, slamming my locker. She frowned.

"Why not? You're gonna be eighteen!" she said. I laughed.

"Birthdays are overrated. I just want cake and yeah," I said. We slid into our seats and she smiled at me.

"I don't know, you're gonna like your present tomorrow," she said. I bit on my eraser as I pulled out paper to take notes on.

"Yeah? What is it?" I asked.

"I can't tell you! It'll ruin the surprise!" she said. I laughed.

"We wouldn't want that,"

"Absolutely not,"

I smiled and wrote down the notes written on the board.

After class, I was walking to lunch when Logan fell into step next to me.

"Hey," I said. He smiled and bit his lip.

"We still on for after school today?" he said. I nodded, smiling. "Great. I'll see you then."

"See you then," I said. He disappeared into a classroom and Jane and Eden joined me on both sides.

"I heard Harry will be in New York next week," Jane said nonchalantly. I hummed.

"Will he?" I said, dropping my backpack and binder into my locker.

"You gonna see him?"

"Don't see how I can. He'll be in New York right? I'm in LA,"

"Maybe he'll stop by," Eden said. I hummed.

"Yeah, maybe the plane will land in my backyard or something," I said sarcastically. They glared at me.

"This is why we're not friends. You're a sarcastic bitch," Jane snapped. I laughed and walked away from them. For a second I thought I would actually get away, but someone grabbed my hand, pulling me back into them.

"Charlotte," Eden said. I smiled sweetly. Suddenly my phone rang and I pulled it out of my pocket. Harry’s name flashed on the screen.

"I've got to take this. Don't wait up," I said. They huffed and I answered. "Hello?" I said.

"Hey Beautiful," Harry's voice warmed my heart. I smiled and pushed my hair behind my ear. I leaned back against a locker and Jane and Eden disappeared around a corner. "I'll be in New York next week you know," he said. I laughed lightly.

"Yeah, I heard," I said. I heard a video game going in the back and I smiled.

"I was wondering whether I should bring my Ramones shirt or not? I mean, it's my favorite shirt, but there's tons of holes," he said. I smiled and ran my fingers through my hair.

"Harry, I'm at school, you can't call me about shirts," I said.

"You're at lunch right now," he said and I heard him rustle around in a bag. I blushed that he remembered the times I was in classes and when I wasn't. "Anyway, what do you think?"
