Chapter 4

Lauren's POV

Monday, August 18th
I followed the same workout routine as the one I started back on Saturday. I was right on schedule getting back home so I took my shower, once I got out I put on my 'Stay Weird' crop top and my black ripped skinny jeans with my black combat boots. I placed my favorite toboggan on my head which read 'The Wanting' in fancy bold white letters. I decided to tell the guys to wear theirs as well, I wanted to take a selfie and post it on Instagram. It was only 6:45 and I went into the kitchen and prepared my normal breakfast. Two raw eggs, half of a bagel, and a small fruit bowl with yogurt and oats. After I finished I watched a little tv until 8:10, I then went back into the kitchen and made my strawberry banana, whey protein shake. I finished at exactly 8: 30 and I headed to school. Josh walked over to my car like usual and held my hand while we walked to meet up with everyone else. "So volleyball starts back up today are you excited?" Anne asked me "Honestly yeah, I hope we improve even more this year than we did last year." I replied enthusiastically "Well you guys should mostly improve because most of the girls playing were on the team last year." "True" I nodded.

Before I knew it we were in third period and I already knew that the guys were going to tease me about the teacher checking me out and what not. "Hey Lauren, where's your bae?" "Well he's currently in gym at the moment." "Not him, you know who we're talking about." They continued "I actually don't if it's not Josh then I have no idea who you're talking about." I answered nonchalantly "we're talking about our sexy teacher." I just shook my head at them. "Afternoon class. We're watching a video on the wild west and there is a set of questions to go with it." She greeted while she sat her stuff down at her desk "Umm, Calum?" I turn to him to see him practically not breathing "Yes ma'am?" "Would you mind passing out the sheet to go along with the video for me?" He got up calmly and passed out the papers for her while I googled the sheet and found the answers. As soon as he handed me the sheet I filled it out and was done by the time she started the video. I didn't usually take shortcuts to finish work but I really didn't feel like reading the questions or I would have answered them myself but once won't kill me. I was scrolling through Tumblr until the video was over "Alright class that's it for today, turn it in and the rest of the time is yours." I grabbed my paper and both the guy's papers and made sure our names were on them, I walked up to Ms. Cabello's desk to turn them in. "Is your name on it this time?" She teased me, I gave a sweet smile before answering "I made sure to check this time, it's there for sure." She gave me a thumbs up as she chuckled quietly where only we could hear, I smiled again before heading back to my desk.

No POV

No sooner than Lauren sat back down Calum already started teasing her "It seemed like you were doing a little more than turning in some papers, seems like the two of you were flirting yeah." He wiggled his eyebrows around while Lauren rolled her eyes and shook her head, "I swear you guys are ridiculous, she was just making sure our names were on the papers." They both looked at Lauren suspiciously "Are you sure?" Lauren looked at them like they were crazy "just shut up and lets take this picture." "No, I wanna take more than one picture, one for Insta, one for Twitter, one for snapchat and maybe even one for your Tumblr!" He quietly shouted and Ashton shook his head in agreement "Fine just come on." Camila was secretly watching the girl that she found herself extremely attracted to, as she interacted with her friends. The first picture they took for SnapChat was of them just smiling into the camera. The second picture was for Twitter and it was of Lauren pointing in front of her face to 'The Wanting' on her hat, Calum and Ashton did the same thing on either side of her except they did it where it looked like they were saluting but only using their pointer finger. The picture for Tumblr was of them sticking out their tongues making goofy faces. The last one was for Instagram and it was of the boys kissing Lauren's cheek on either side while Lauren wrinkled up her nose. Camila found herself smiling at how the green eyed girl managed to look cute even while making weird faces.
