Chapter 3

Lauren's POV

Tuesday, August 11th
My first two classes went the same as yesterday and I made sure to finish any work we were given in class so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

Third period rolled around in no time and I of course was texting Josh, while the guys rambled on about nonsense.

I had fun yesterday babe. Anything you want to do today?

You got it baby girl, anything for you! I'll see you after class.

"Good afternoon class" Ms. Cabello greeted before continuing, "Nothing extravagant today I'm going to give you guys notes on The Wild West and then you'll do a worksheet, and that's pretty much it." She walked to her desk to take attendance.

As Camila was giving her class the notes she couldn't seem to keep her eyes from wandering over to Lauren, who noticed it but didn't think anything of it she was too busy making sure she didn't miss any of the notes. They were finally finished taking notes and Camila handed out the worksheets, when she reached Lauren's desk she found herself letting her eyes roam the girl's features but quickly snapped out of it and walked away quickly before she did it again. Calum and Ashton did not miss a single glance the young teacher gave to Lauren and they felt it necessary to tease her about it. "Pst Lauren, I believe Ms. Cabello was... How do you say?" Calum began in a hushed tone "I believe the term is eye banging." Ashton finished "Yes that's it. There was some serious eye banging going on, If I didn't know any better I would say she totally has the hots for you!" Calum continued "You guys seriously need to get a hobby, you do realize she's a teacher and that's not only weird but illegal. Get your heads out of the gutter." Lauren laughed them off as she was diligently filling out the worksheet. "We do have a hobby, watching our teacher practically drool over you." Ashton stated as both he and Calum wore a devilish smile "Well I couldn't care less." She was finished with her work and she was about to get up to turn it in but the boys stopped her because they hadn't yet started "Wait! Can we see it first?" They asked causing her to roll her eyes but because she was a good friend she allowed them to see it. "Take a picture, so I can turn it in." They did as she said and then she went to turn in her paper "Here you go Ms." She was about to walk away until Camila grabbed her attention "Um Miss Jauregui, you forgot your name." "Crap! Again?" Her disbelief at her actions caused Camila to internally laughed but on the exterior she only wore a small smile. "Um do you mind if I borrow your pen really quick?" Camila froze for half a second before replying "Oh um sure." She held her pen out for Lauren to take and when she did their hands grazed, to Lauren it meant nothing but to Camila it was like a shock of electricity that caused her senses to tingle and chills to run through her. A few seconds later Lauren was handing her the pen back "Thanks." She said before turning and making her way back to her seat.

Each day passed exactly the same, stolen glances that Lauren ignored, The guys teasing her and going on about how it looked like Camila was only a few seconds from jumping her where she sat. Her afternoons were spent with Josh doing fun things they weren't able to do over the summer. Before she knew it, it was the weekend and she only had two days left to fully spend with Josh because when Monday came around her schedule would go back to busy and she wasn't sure when she would get a chance to spend time with him outside of school.

Lauren's POV

Saturday, August 16th
I woke up and it was still dark outside, I checked my phone to see that it was 5:00am. Right on schedule. I got up, brushed my teeth, threw my hair in a ponytail and put on a pair of my workout clothes before I grabbed my phone and headphones. I headed downstairs to grab my water bottle and my House key out of the bowl. I quietly shut my house door and then began my five mile jog, it was 5:20am when I started. I managed to finish and make it back home by 5:40am, I immediately started to do my ab workouts with my weights. I finished doing that at 6:05am and went straight upstairs to take a shower. I went back to sleep after I put some clothes on knowing that I was going to be out all day.

I woke back up around ten o'clock am and went to brush my teeth before heading downstairs. I watched some tv and texted Josh.

Of course babe, I'm getting ready now, then I was thinking we could go to the mountains to walk the trail & then we can go get ice cream and walk the beach. Is that ok?

I was exhausted when I got back home but my day with Josh was nothing short of amazing. We decided that tomorrow we would go to the pool with my three best friends and his best friends and then go play some beach volleyball. I took my shower and changed into my night clothes before going back down stairs to eat with my family. After I went straight to sleep because I would be waking up at five am again.
