Chapter 37 (part 1)

Saturday, November 12th 6:00am
Lauren woke up feeling pretty good and full of excitement, she sat up and stretched her limbs. She did her morning routine before sending Camila a sweet morning message, then went and did her workout.

Upon returning home she decided to make breakfast for her family since none of them were up yet. By the time she started putting everything on plates everybody came downstairs like a herd of elephants.

"Laur I swear you're a blessing straight from heaven." Chris comment as he let the aroma fill his nose

"I would love to say he's being overdramatic but in this moment I absolutely agree." Taylor agreed, their parents kissed each of Lauren's cheeks and Ally hugged her tightly and softly spoke "I love you."

Lauren chuckled "I love you too Als."

Breakfast went nicely and Lauren already put on her outfit for the rest of the day until she had to put on her performance attire. She was wearing black ripped skinny jeans, a 'The 1975' t-shirt and a mint green beanie with her black combat boots.

She waited for Ally to get dressed then they headed to the venue to make sure everything was right, she had them make a VIP list to let people in the door without tickets and so they could skip the line.

"Alright Miss Jauregui so far on the list is Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello who also has a special pass, Clara & Mike Jauregui, and lastly Chris and Taylor Jauregui. Anyone else?"

Lauren shook her head and continued on making sure everything was good to go.

"They're still setting up all the stage stuff, like the sound board and the floor boards that are gonna lift you guys from under the stage. Everything will be ready to go when you guys come in for rehearsal."

"Sounds good." Lauren smiled and the man showed her where everyone's dressing rooms are.

Dinah, Ally and Normani went to the mall to look for last minute outfits while Lauren, Calum and Ashton had a photo op and an interview that Anne had somehow scored for them.

The Interview

Interviewer- Hey guys, welcome back to 'Stars on the rise' I'm Jack Wise and today Have with me 'The Wanting'. Introduce yourselves.

Calum- Hey I'm Calum Hood, this is Ashton Irwin and that lovely girl sitting right there is Lauren Jauregui.

Ashton- Hey, I'm lovely too!

They all laughed at Ashton's comment knowing that he wasn't being serious.

Interviewer- So you guys have a concert tonight right?

Ashton- Yeah we do actually at the Miami annex. We're playing one of our biggest crowds and it's so exciting!

Interviewer- I wish we could get an exclusive of it, and hey it'd probably be good publicity for you guys as well.

Lauren- Yeah that would be dope, I'll put you on the VIP list right now. Give me a sec.

Interviewer- Great! While she does that, how different is this performance different from the past performances and why is it a must see?

Ashton- One, there is new music tonight no one has heard. Also there is a lot of new choreography and this show is gonna have some special affects, which we've never had the honor of using, so that's new. Also there may or may not be a duet but I guess you'll have to be there to know.
