Chapter 14 [Blackout]

"You guys are amazing, really! How are you guys feeling tonight?" The cheers echoed through place as the crowd was ready for more. "Alright guys we're gonna take a short break, gotta replenish the vocals." Lauren chuckled and so did the crowd. The three stepped off stage and were swarmed by fans who wanted pictures and such.

Lauren chuckled at Camila's message, she spotted her in the crowd and made her way to her, while the boys had already been escorted to the private lounge area in the back of venue where they could relax in peace and quiet. "Don't worry you get the VIP treatment since I had you waiting AND forgot to give you your ticket to begin with. Come on!" Lauren and Camila were escorted to the back but instead of joining the guys in the lounge area, they made their way to a private dressing room. Once behind the closed doors Lauren broke the ice. "So first 'The Wanting' show, are you enjoying it?" She asked Camila leaning back on her stool against the counter as Camila was sat on the couch across from her. "It's amazing!! You guys are great, my gosh! The fans are crazy and bouncing around everywhere, I swear I got bumped into like eight hundred times!" Camila's statement made Lauren burst into laughter and she swears she's never heard anything more heavenly than her laugh aside from her voice of course. "Sorry! Did I not warn you about them?" Lauren questioned still chuckling "Yeah you did but my goodness!" Camila started laughing herself "No but you guys are really talented." Lauren smiled shyly "Thanks and thanks for coming." Camila was slightly amazed how Lauren could radiate confidence one minute and then the next show shyness. She found it immensely endearing, if she wasn't crushing on this girl before she sure as heck was now if not more. She decided to tease Lauren just slightly "Ah well it was free, how could I say no?" Lauren chuckled "Oh that's the only reason you came huh?" Camila laughed "Why of course, why else would I be here?" Lauren rolled her eyes playfully "Well my goodness, all this time I thought you were here because you like our music. To find out it's because it was free, hurts my heart." Lauren gasped dramatically covering her heart with her hands. Just as Camila was about to reply there was a knock on the dressing room door "Laur, we're on in five!" She replied an alright before turning her attention back to Camila "Well that's my cue, feel free to boo me if I hurt your ears or anything." Camila smirked "Does right now count?" They both laughed and Lauren led the way back to the stage. Camila decided to sit at the bar this time, not wanting to get bumped like before. Although it wasn't much better there at least she could enjoy the show and a soda without having to move.

Lauren's POV

"Alright everybody, who's ready to continue this show?!" I shouted enthusiastically to the crowd and they cheered loudly back at me. "We're going to perform our newest song 'Here' for you, If you go to school with us and have third period with us then you know the song. Here we go."

"Calum wrote this one guys, this is 'Coming home tonight'!" I informed the crowd while giving Calum a thumbs up. The stage crew cut my mic and cause the lights to go out and make things act wacky so it would seem like we were experiencing technical difficulties. "Sorry guys somethings going on, I'm gonna go see what's happening." I grabbed my mic sneakily and headed towards the dressing room but continued past it to the exit. I then circled around to be amongst the crowd while the crew pretended to be trying to fix things. No one noticed that I was sitting on a table kind of off to the side of the venue. The crew kept the lights off but all the noises they were making stopped and it was silent. Calum started playing some chords and I started singing but nobody knew where it was coming from.

They flashed a single spotlight onto me and everyone turned in my direction.

I stood up slowly and started a slow pace barely going anywhere. And I stopped when I said 'stop' raising my hand , I wagged my finger at 'don't tell me no' and pointed towards the ground when I sang 'you're coming home tonight' And I then continued to walk finding a post and putting my back against it when I sang 'stop' again.

While my back was against the post I moved my hips forward twice then moved my left hip twice before continuing to walk. I then walked up to the nearest girl, pointed to my head and grabbed her hand, turning her around so we were like slow dancing while her back was to my front, all while singing to her.

I started walking again then hopped to my left, acted like I was steering while I alternated my steps; left, right, left. Then I moved my finger in a circle by my head to symbolize 'crazy'

I kept walking until I reached a pretty cute guy, I wrapped my arm around his neck and placed my hand on the nape of his neck and swayed left to right with him five times before spinning around so my back was close to his front and rocked my hips to the left four times then doing the same on the right.

I was leaning against the stage singing to the crowd.

I danced in front of a few people collectively before sitting at the bar three seats down from Ms. Cabello and crossing my left leg over my right.

I made a phone symbol before falling off the stool on purpose, landing on my left foot. I took a step so that I was now on the stool right beside Camila now and I looked at her with a seductive smirk and sang 'you're coming home tonight, yeah' then I got up and stood in front of her but far enough away so it was comfortable and I wasn't crossing any boundaries. I rocked my hips from side to side and she laughed softly causing me to smile.

I made my way back on stage and everybody was dancing now just like I wanted.
