All weekend Camila tried to reach Lauren but just like all other times, no answer. It was killing her, not hearing from the girl, waiting for an answer, she just wanted to make things right. All weekend Lauren was either locked in her room or at band practice, she drowned herself so deep in her music that she almost forgot to eat, the only reason she actually put something in her system was because of the guys.
Lauren was dressed in all black, black ripped skinny jeans, black v-neck, black leather jacket and black Doc Martin's. She knew today she would have to see Camila, whether she liked it or not.
She was currently at lunch with the guys and Anne, who were deep in conversation about who knows what, Lauren wasn't paying attention.
The lunch bell rang and her and the guys were off to Ms. Cabello's class.
Ashton intertwined his fingers with Lauren's to let her know that he was there if she needed him and she was grateful for that, he held her hand the entire walk to class. He only detangled them so that they could remove their book bags and sit down, instead of his usual spot he sat beside Lauren and laced their hands back together.
Camila witnessed this whole thing and knew it was her fault that Ashton even had to comfort her, she wanted her girl back and hopefully Lauren wanted the same thing.
--
All through class Camila would sneak little glimpses of Lauren, who was so lost in her thoughts.
Lauren knew that Camila would probably try and use her position as a teacher to finally talk to Lauren after class, so the girl was trying to prepare herself for that.
Things like 'Am I ready to be in a relationship?' 'Am I over exaggerating?' 'Maybe I need some time to work on me.' Were running through her mind the entire class period and it wasn't until Ms. Cabello called her name, that she was out of her head.
"Miss Jauregui please stay behind when the bell rings."
Ashton squeezed his best friends hand before leaning over just by her ear.
"Laur everything is gonna be fine, just hear her out and be honest. I'm here if you need me, just text me."
As if on cue the bell rung dismissing the class and everyone rushed out to be on time to their next class.
Camila went and pulled the door shut and locked it, before moving to lean on the front of her desk. There was silence between the two, Lauren's eyes stayed glued to her desk where she played with her fingers. Camila took a deep breath before speaking up.
"Lo, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for the other night. I should have told you that I was texting an old friend, instead of not saying anything and making you feel like something was going on behind your back. I promise it'll never happen again."
Lauren finally lifted her head and their gazes met, what Camila saw in Lauren's though she had never seen before and she had no idea what it meant.
"If you really think that I haven't spoken to you in almost three days just because you didn't tell me who you were texting, you're wrong. But first I wanna apologize for accusing you of doing something I had no proof of, that wasn't right of me. I should have just discussed it with you like an adult but instead I blew things out of proportion and made it more than it had to be. For that I am sorry."
