Chapter 25

Saturday, September 20th 10:00am
For the next six days Camila took Tori to do fun things before she had to leave and because Tori and Lauren hit it off she also joined their escapades. Camila didn't mind one bit, it just meant she got to spend more time with Lauren. Lauren didn't mind either she enjoyed Camila's company. Over this time span they had been texting non-stop and Camila found ways to subtly flirt with Lauren, who noticed but viewed it as harmless. Camila had informed the younger girl of the details for the Vma's and they had made plans to go dress shopping the same day Tori had to leave town.

Saturday,September 27th 8am
Camila and Tori had gotten dressed so that Camila could take her sister to the airport for her 10:00am flight to New York for rehearsals and the Vma's. Once they said their goodbyes the teacher headed back home to have breakfast before watching tv and texting Lauren.

Lauren's POV

As I was waiting for Camila to come pick me up I prepared my smoothie, My parents were at work and my siblings had spent the night at their friends house so I had the house to myself this morning. I was blasting the 1975 until I heard a honk from outside, I exited the house and got in the car with my smoothie and phone in hand. "Hey." I greeted her with a gentle smile "Hey. Whatcha drinking?" "It's my protein shake, I drink it every morning." "It probably tastes disgusting, how can you drink that?"

I shook my head in disagreement, it tasted quite the opposite. "No, actually it tastes delicious. Here try it." I say handing her my bottle, I watched as she lifted it to her lips and took a sip of the liquid before her eyes shot open in what I'm guessing was surprise "Wow! That is really good, I stand corrected." "Well you're sitting, but.. Yeah" "You know a part of me wants to punch you for being sarcastic, like almost always but luckily I like it so I let it slide." I let out a boisterous laugh "You just make it so easy, I can't help it."

We went to the mall in search of a dress for each of us that was Vma appropriate. Camila ended up getting a simple white dress that stopped just above her knees and to be real she was rocking that dress, it hugged her hips and she looked really good in it. I ended up getting a simple black dress that stopped at my calves. We went and ate something then she dropped me back home. When I got home I thought back over the day and realized that Camila was a little flirty today as she had been in text lately but maybe I'm imagining things, even so though it seems harmless. What person doesn't appreciate a compliment because I do.
