Ness x Lucas: Destructive Love

May Chang II POV - Chapter 18

Wednesday - 7:15 pm  

After telling us her backstory, Paula looked extremely crestfallen – to the point when she had to leave in order to take some air and relax herself.

She came back some minutes later, and everything turned awkward. I could feel it though... the need to talk and question the things Ling, Cloud, and I didn't know. However, it seemed like no one would ask about them. I guess it's up to me. I thought.

"Naruto..." I began asking, "do... you happen to know more about Ness and Lucas?"

"Actually, I dOOOOOOOO." He replied.

He took a deep breath and then began telling us all about his past and how he came to meet Lucas and Ness.

Apparently, Naruto had joined Hydra 12 years ago. He joined because he thought the organization was good. Once at Hydra, he met Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj, who also started working there around the same time.

They were all present to see Ness and Lucas become weapons of mass destruction. In the conversion process, Naruto realized the organization was evil and that he needed to do something. That something was to help Ness and Lucas escape.

"It wuz a rlly cold day... We had to escape from there so i came up with dem planz." Naruto told us.

The plan revolved around stealing a memory-eraser machine from the Hydra Laboratories. Then, at exactly 12:00 am, he would enter the Leader's bedroom and steal his identification card – which would allow Naruto to enter Lucas and Ness' room later on. After entering the room, he would grab the sleeping bodies of Ness and Lucas, put them on a supermarket cart (that he previously stole from the nearest market) and leave Hydra as soon as possible. Then he would erase their memories and hope for the best.

Naruto managed to do almost everything flawlessly, except for one thing. When he went to the Leader's room to get his ID, he found someone else outside. The person was dressed in black, and had a black veil on his face. Naruto thought he had been busted, so he ran away as quickly as he could. The other person followed him though, and he or she seemed faster than Naruto. Naruto decided to accept his failure, and stopped running. The other person then extended his hand, revealing the leader's ID, which he or she then handed to Naruto. It was then that he discovered it was Snoop Dogg.

"Snoop?" Naruto had asked.

"It me. Yes." Snoop replied.

"Y... are you helping me???"

"Ik lucass and nesss arent safe here. ik u want 2 take 'em away. Do it."

"H-how... do u know it!?"

"I know everything yung fella."

Naruto felt spooked out, but relieved at the same time. Snoop had good intentions, after all. And he helped him with his plan, which was also good.

The rest of the plan itself worked perfectly, and soon after, they were on the road. Lucas and Ness woke up, asking who they were. Naruto had to make this entire wacky story about how they met on twitter years ago, since he didn't know the actual backstory, and told them that their real names were Lucas and Ness.

Soon after, loud alarms started ringing. Naruto knew they came from Hydra. He knew they wanted their weapons back. The alarms could be heard through the entire city. Hours later, the entire country was under Hydra's military, which were looking for Ness and Lucas.

Naruto realized they were not safe there, at all. He then figured out they could simply escape. He had a lot of contacts, which helped him get 3 plane tickets to China. They eventually got out of the country and after more than 3 days traveling, they were able to get there.

Once in China, they met Porky and Paula and they all befriended each other rapidly. They had, what Naruto described as, 'the best days of their lives.' They used to do everything, from learning Korean, to going to the Chinese-version of McDonaldTrump.

They all sticked together for two years, until Paula's accident occurred. The things then became extremely awkward, so Naruto decided to leave once again. This time back to America. Mainly because he found out his old co-worker, Snoop Dogg, inaugurated his own organization at the Snoop HQ.

Days later, Naruto dropped them off at the headquarters. He initially kinda wanted to stay with them, but soon decided it was better to leave Lucas and Ness in the HQ under Nicki and Snoop's care. He knew he had to return to China, his gut told him so. He told us he was kind of homesick as well.

Lucas, Ness, and Naruto said their goodbyes. Naruto then reassured them that they were left in good hands, that Snoop and Nicki were good people. He then promised them that they would see each other again. And with that, Naruto returned to China.

In November, he went to check on Ness and Lucas, but in the way was caught by Paula and Porky. Which Naruto later found out that same month that they were now part of Hydra.

After Naruto finished telling his story, everybody was left mind blown and sad. Mainly sad. Especially Naruto and Paula themselves.

I looked at Ling directly into his eyes, signaling we needed to go outside to talk. We excused ourselves and went to the balcony to talk.

"They are really affected by Ness and Lucas." I said.

"Yeah... especially now that they were taken by Hydra." Ling replied.

"Ling... I think we have to go to Hydra."

"I was thinking the same."

"We really need to get Lucas and Ness back."

"I know... and with the fact that this so-called Sonic has them now we could be in trouble."

"Exactly, we should tell the others about our plan though."

"Yeah, lets go do it."

Then we left the balcony and went to the main room to tell our friends about our new plan.
