Naruto IV POV - Chapter 36

Sunday - 4:20 pm

With barely anyone in the Headquarters anymore there hasn't been much to do. I have spent all my time binge-watching Korean drama. Even Paula started doing the same since she was bored. Snoop and Nicki have been looking kind of depressed since they came back. Learning about the disappearance of many of our friends must have hurt them quite a lot.

This morning I received a message from Cloud that said, "I want to inform you that yesterday I was able to see Kermit. I asked him to return to the Snoop HQ but he told me he wouldn't since he wanted chicken. After seeing him I fell asleep and woke up until about 6:00 am today. I will continue looking for everyone. Maybe even try to convince Kermit to return. I will message you back when something happens. Bye." The message came at about 11:11 am and since then he hasn't messaged me back, yet.

After watching lots of Korean drama I went to order some food.

In the kitchen I found Paula eating some pizza. Apparently she had already ordered food.

"Has he messaged you back?" Paula asked me when she saw me.

"Nah, not yet. Is there more of dem pizzza??"

"Yeah. Take some."

The pizza was family size. It measured about four times the size of a regular pizza. There was only a slice of pizza left.

"Did Snooop & Nikkkii take somee?"

"No, I ate it on my own. Why?" She asked with a grin.

"Nothin, just curiousss." Paula did have a huge appetite.

"Can you take the carton to the dumpster outside. It will surely not fit on this garbage can."

"K..." Then I took the pizza slice and started to eat it.

Once I was finished I took the carton and left through the main room. As I was walking out the doors of the HQ I remembered the lots of things that had happened in this very same hallway. Aang died in here in hands of Acacia. I killed Porky with my rasengan and hid its marks from everyone. And recently the fight that went out against the FBI started through this very hallway. I opened the doors with a push and exited the HQ. I did a turn and ended in the side of the HQ with the huge dumpster thrown near the wall. I remembered how May and Ling carried Poo's burnt body towards the dumpster but I scared them before they could throw it inside. I decided to help them since it was me who basically blamed them for Porky's death. Then our friendship was born.

I got to the dumpster and slowly opened it. As I threw the pizza carton inside I noticed a weird box. A chicken box. A KFC Box. Fox the Box. I remembered.

Ness and Lucas's supposed son...

We hadn't found it yet. After Paula revived Lucas and Ness we looked for it, but gave up after a while. It was not useful back then. But now, I thought. It may be valuable to have it just now.

I reached down the the dumpster to take the box, silently thanking that the dumpster was never cleaned.

I hurried back to the HQ and as I was entering I heard a loud beep coming from a car behind. When I looked back I saw a red car coming to a stop and the doors slowly opening. The squids... I thought, with happy tears drowning my eyes.
