Carly Shay II POV - Chapter 20

Wednesday - 8:27 pm  

After speaking with the kind Alphonse; Ray and I decided we needed some alone-time together.

We wanted to go to the building's rooftop in order to have a talk between ourselves. Nothing too specific or serious though. We just needed to relax as a couple and stuff.

Rayquaza and I got in the nearest elevator. The door then closed, and to our surprise, the elevator got stuck in the 9th floor. We had no other choice but to get out and walk our way to the rooftop.

As we walked, the door belonging to room 11 opened, revealing the marvelous Donald Trump, who called Rayquaza. He then left to Trump's office. And stayed there for around 10 minutes.

When Rayquaza finally came out of the room, he told me we could now proceed to the rooftop. Along the way I wondered what they talked about, but I didn't want to intrude. Once there, we sat down and looked all around us. The sky was dark-bluish, signifying that it must have been around 9 pm.

I grabbed Ray's hand, and then leaned on him. To my surprise, he looked at me directly into my eyes.

"I have to tell ya sumthin'." He said.

"W-what?" I asked.

"Trump. He made me his Second in Command."

"WHAT?" I questioned.

"Yah." He said, "it wuz sudden tho. I entered his office n he said Alphy was incompetent and that he needed sumone laik me 2 do them job."

"And did you accept?"

"Yah. He'll pay me more cash money n i'll use it 2 buy u stuff."

"Aww, Ray, you don't need to."

After that, there was a huge silence. Not an uncomfortable one though. We only smiled as we looked at the sky once again. How will Alph feel about this? I thought.

The fact that Rayquaza is now Second in Command will bring more responsibility to us, and will perhaps make things a little bit harder for us. It's a-okay, though. I know Ray will do a great job, and I will support him.

"I love you Ray, let's hope your new position brings us more good things... and let's hope your hard work pleases Commander Trump." I said.

"It wills my carly. I luv ya 2."

"Really?"

"Ye. A lot. I'll dooo my best 2 make Trump happyyYYY."

And so, we spent a little bit more time in the rooftop, talking about the little things we did everyday. Some interesting things popped out now and then, but nothing that important.

Eventually, it became quite late, so Ray and I walked happily to our room.
