Cloud Strife IV POV - Chapter 44

It came to my knowledge that the FBI and Kermit would have a meeting today, right now. What does this mean? That I have to go spy them.

Different from last the time I did so, I decided to equip myself. The last battle we had against them, proved to me that the people from the FBI are tough. If Kermit does something they dislike, they would most likely send their army to kill him or something.

As I walked towards the closest air vent outside of my room, I saw what seemed to be someone with blue spikes running at an extremely super fast speed. "Wait up!" I tried screaming at whoever was running, but I only got a scream as a response. "Gotta go Fast!" He screamed. I tried following him, but to no avail. I could only see the strange figure running away from me at around 2500 miles per hour.

I gave up, and decided to let the blue thing be. I took off a random air vent and climbed up the ducts, until I got a nice, comfortable view on Kermit's office. I sat on the air duct, very close to the air vent on the right top of the room in order to listen to the conversation Kermit and his guests were having.

"Yes. Ness and Lucas are Edicius and Poons." Alphonse insisted.

"NO! I refuse to believe it! >:( " Kermit exclaimed.

"But... why!?" Carly asked.

"Because... Be-because! I was Ness and Lucas's best friend and I'm Edicius and Poon's best friend! I would have noticed before that they aren't the same. ;___;"

"But they are! This is the 35th time I tell you so. Kermit, please understand..." Alphonse said.

"B-but... ;O;" Kermit said, crying.

"Listen, Leader Kermit, we don't really care about your friendship with Lucas and Ness or Edicius and Poons. To be completely sincere with you, we only came here in order to ask you to hand them over to us." A very moody teenager spoke.

Kermit looked at them sadly, but then he wiped his tears and took a deep breath. He then put on a serious face, saying, "I understand. U_U I will give them to you, if that's what you want."

"Yes. This is what we want." The teenager replied coldly.

"Alright. By the way, would you like a room for you to stay in? <O<"

"Yes, please." Alphonse said.

"Oki dokie. I will get you one of the rooms with a nice view. :0"

"oookay my man, please do so, yo'." The huge green dragon said.

"Okay. You may leave." Kermit said.

Everybody stood up, and shook hands with Kermit. It is truly weird seeing him as a Leader, with so much responsibility... I thought. The dragon then stood closer to Kermit and asked him casually where the bathroom was, which Kermit then told him. The dragon then left the room before everybody else. I assumed my job was done, so I crawled out the air ducts.

After getting out through the air vent next to my room, I saw a blue figure running fast once again. This time I won't let you get away! I thought as I followed the figure without making that much noise.

To my surprise, I saw the blue figure approaching the bathroom, and seconds later, I saw the dragon getting out of there. This smells bad. I thought as I hid myself under a random trashcan some meters away of the bathroom doors.

Everything from there went so fast. The dragon stood afraid, and the blue thing jumped on it, screaming "Hey, pump it up!" Seconds later, I heard "SUPER SANIC SPEED!" and a huge boom was heard. I decided to take my Buster Sword out, and approach the source of the sound.

I ran with my sword on hand, but only found the dragon, thrown on the floor, crying in pain.

"H-ey...! I... I'll get some help!" I told him.

"N-no... It's too late for me, bro. Get away before... he comes for you..." Replied the dragon in between breaths. Dying by the second.

I knew that I really wanted to help him, but this complete situation was bizarre, so I decided to run away, before the blue blur comes to get me as well.
