Edicius V POV - Chapter 35

Saturday - 9:11 pm

After losing the battle we all returned to the Headquarters. We ended up with about a quarter of our original forces and we were barely able to escape. Along the road some cats were chasing us but we eliminated them with ease.

"We should not have attacked them yet. We should have waited until we got the weapons ready. It was a stupid mistake!" Sanic said angrily when we arrived at the Headquarters.

"We will destroy them the next time we see them." I said to appease him.

"Yes, Leader, we will. With the help of our weapons we will surely prevail! Besides, we didn't even use half of our forces, we will win for sure." Poons exclaimed.

"I hope you are right." Sanic said.

Then we entered the building. All 30,000 of us.

"All of you go rest now, tomorrow you'll practice all day long!" Sanic said to everyone. "Poons, Edicius go check on the machine. It should be near completion by now, and Mary go check on the prisoners and prepare them for tomorrow. Waluigi you may go rest, you did an oustanding job today."

"Yes Leader." We all said, and then went to do our tasks.

Moments later we arrived at the basement. The lights were on.

"Who was in charge who left the lights on?" I asked Poons.

"I don't know. Maybe Willy?" He replied.

We went near the machine and memories flushed back.

"Is da process completed?" A blonde man asked, as we came out of the tubes next to the machine.

"нет нет нет.... Снег снег." Both Poons and I said at the same time.

"Yes, it is, we have our weapons now. It won't be long before we use them to conquer the world." Sanic said while intensely laughing. "Come my weapons, come!"

Poons and I went walking towards him. As I did so I felt tired and Poons seemed to be tired as well.

"нет нет нет.... Снег снег." Both Poons and I said.

"Wat does dat mean?" The same blonde man asked.

"No no no... snow snow? I don't understand." Sanic said.

"нет нет нет.... Снег снег." We said again.

"Whatever, I like that phrase. We will use it from now on as our motto."

Then both Poons and I fell to the floor, and I could only see darkness from then on.

"Did you see that?" I asked Poons.

"Yes, it was weird..." He replied.

Then we went near the machine and noticed it said 'Off'.

"We should inform the Leader about this."

"Yes, we should. Lets go."

After leaving the basement we directed ourselves to the main room.

Sanic was standing above everyone else in a platform, looking extremely angry.

"Leader Sanic," I called out as soon as I saw him, "bad news."

"More?!" Just now Mary came to tell me that the prisoners have escaped and are nowhere to be found!!" He exclaimed furious.

"Well... the machine was off just now."

"What are you talking about? It should be loading!" He exclaimed.

"We don't know Leader. It was off just now. Someone probably turned it off." Poons said.

He sighed. "This couldn't be any worse! We lost the fight, the prisoners are gone, and the machine was not even loading to begin with!" Another exalted sigh. "I will go to my office to relax now. I need to rest and tomorrow I will think on how to fix all of this. Edicius, Poons follow me."

He then stood off the platform and walked towards his office, we went behind him.

When we arrived we noticed the door was locked and that a picture of Kermit was hanging on the doorknob. A banner displaying 'KERMIT' was pasted on it as well. Poons and I looked strangely at each other. Sanic proceeded to open the door with his key, and we slowly entered the room afterwards. The room was slightly different, every picture of Sanic was replaced with pictures of Kermit now.

"Who are you and what are you doing in here!?!?" Sanic exclaimed when he saw Kermit asleep on his desk.

He slowly woke up and stared at us for a while before saying, "am Kurmit. :-)"

"What are you doing in Hydra?!"

"Some fuK3r went to da sn00p hq & askd me to cum heree."

"Who?!"

"Waluigigiiii." Kermit responded.

"Wait, I asked him to bring me someone who could be useful not YOU! Maybe Waluigi is not as competent as I thought!"

"Yahh idc dis is ma office so leaveee. ;))"

"NO! This is MY office!"

"Naaaah diss is mineee AFFFFF. Look 4 another oneee u stupid fuq. Btwww i am da Leader of Hydddrraaa nowww so u need to obey meee. ^-^"

Leader Sanic looked like he was about to explode, his face was flaring red. When he was about to yell something, the back door opened and Willy appeared.

"Yassss its truu. Kurmit is da Leader now. We must all obey him AF." He said.

Poons and I gave each other a look and with that simple look we decided it had to be true. Kermit was the true Leader of Hydra. Leader Sanic, or should I say, Sanic is just an impostor.

"It's a pleasure to see you Leader Kermit." I said.

"Yes Leader Kermit, we are so glad to see you here." Poons said.

"Edi, Pons im glad 2 c u here. >.< Willllly pls kick dat saaanic out 4 me plzzz."

"I willlll Leader AFF." Willy said as he proceeded to take Sanic out. He screamed and shouted insults all around, but eventually was taken outside the room and went down the hall to be kicked out.

"Edi, Pons go too sleeeeepp :-)))) u r d3m bestest of friEnDs."

"Gladly, Leader. Good night." Poons and I said with smiles on our faces. Finally a Leader who considers us his friends.
