Naruto VI POV - Chapter 50

Thursday - 1:00 pm

I slept in one of the bar-stand chairs, resting my head on the actual stand. As soon as I woke up I thanked the bartender for the comfortable stay and left the establishment. I rushed through the parking lot looking for the red car and eventually found it. I opened the door, and not long after I hit the road. That was at about 9:11 am.

Along the road Ling called me telling me he was on his way to the HQ and asked me if I could pick him up at the train station if I were to arrive first. I agreed and expect to see him in a few hours.

Even Paula sent me a message telling me that they would be arriving home by Friday. She didn't go into details, no idea if they actually succeeded on the mission or not.

Just now I finally arrived at the Snoop Headquarters. As I was getting near the entrance I recalled something I had to do. Fox the Box... I went to search for the KFC Box in the dumpster. And there it was, where I mistakingly left it. I grabbed it and made sure to take it with me this time around.

Then I went towards the entrance and opened the hall door. I walked through the hall and arrived at the main room door, unlocking it.

"Snoooop! Nickikikiki! Im home AF!!!" I yelled when I finally entered the main hall.

Snoop and Nicki came running down the stairs moments after.

"Naruto-kun!!!" Nicki exclaimed.

"Ma homie!" Snoop said as both of them hugged me.

"So, wheres Ling??" Nicki asked moments later, tugging away from the hug.

"He is comin soooon. He called me askin 2 pick him up as soon as he gets here."

"Oh, good, but Y do u have a chicken box kiddo?" Snoop asked looking at Fox the Box.

"Yas, u dont want it? I can eat it if u dont want it!!" Nicki exclaimed with lust in her eyes.

"No, its Nesss and Lucass's son. We need it to bring dem bak, maybe it works."

"So... theres no chicken left den?" Nicki said dissapointed.

"No..." I said maintaining the box at safe distance.

"I can call for sum ma Nicki hicky." Snoop offered, hugging her tightly.

"Ohhh plzzz. I want CHIKEN." She said, then Snoop called KFC Trumps for a bucket of chicken, and we went together to the couches. Patiently waiting for the chicken.

We turned the TV on and started watching some Netflix.

Half an hour later the chicken arrived and the three of us started eating. Nicki took the biggest portions and ate them all delightedly. After all, Nicki surely loved her chicken. Snoop and I just ate the remains.

Then my phone vibrated and I noticed I had a new message. Probably Ling. I thought, but instead it was Cloud.

"Something terrible happened yesterday, I didn't want to tell you the bad news so soon, but I think you deserve to know. It's not easy to say something like this but, Kermit is dead. It was Sonic's doing. I will avenge him, just now I'm on my way to the FBI to strike a negotiation with the Commander. I'm going with Alphonse, (the suit armor guy who attacked us about a week ago) and Carly (a really moody teenager). See you in the next few days, I will tell you everything when I return. Bye."

Kermit is dead? What happened? What is going on? Should I tell Snoop and Nicki about this? I then glanced at them and noticed how happy they were, eating the chicken strips together, and I decided not to ruin their cheerful disposition.
