Edicius I POV - Chapter 9

Monday - 6:55 am  

It felt surreal to be back.

After waking beside Poons I've had flashing images appear constantly in my mind.

Images of past times.

"I need to sleep." I told Poons after talking for a while, "I've been having images appear in front of my eyes and I feel like if I sleep I will understand better what we must do."

"I understand, and I will do the same then. спокойной ночи Edicius."

"спокойной ночи Poons."

Then we both went to sleep again.

Moments later, I fell asleep.

Flashing images appeared once again in my dream...

I saw a candy man feigning his work...

I saw two squids trying to escape...

I saw a frog gaining power...

I saw a suit armor command...

I dreamt of a time in which I worked in Hydra's HQs, moments before Poons and I became weapons.

"They will become weapons of mass destruction," a blue being said, "we need to keep them enclosed after this happens."

A guy wearing an orange suit with blonde hair then said, "R u sure they will be able 2 handle it?"

"Yes, and if they don't, we will find other Test Subjects who will."

Then the process started, we were to be put inside a huge machine. Tube-like formations were in both sides, and Poons and I were led to them by a man wearing grey clothes with "HYDRA" written in his chest.

"Here." He said.

Then I entered the right tube and Poons the left.

I then woke up, beside me I saw Poons wake up as well.

"Poons, I know what we must do," I told him, "we must go to Hydra."

"I thought just the same." He replied.

Then both of us stood up and left the room.

We are the Leader's weapons after all. I thought. And he wants us back.
