i didn't bother to check her reply and hurriedly got dressed up. i was hella confused as to why i was even agreeing to this.
but she confuses me,
there's things that i don't know?
whatever it is, i'll eventually find out.
"where are you heading?" Jimin asks,
i turn around and realize that he was still up.
i scratched the back of my neck awkwardly taking small steps back.
"i'm meeting up with dahyun." i admit,
a small smirk appeared on his face.
"have fun." he says before disappearing to who knows where.
i made my way out of the dorm and started walking to my destination which wasn't that far from here. it was fairly cold and the darkness surrounded me with every step i took.
the darkness only reminded me of what happened last summer.
the summer that i've despised so much.
not too long, i've reached the café and see the familiar figure that i've came to meet up with. she looked like a lost puppy while leaning against the glass window just near the door, shivering to death.
her head was swung low while i walked closer towards her.
"you look like a lonely whale." i say, ruffling her hair.
her head shot up and her eyes glinted, despite the darkness. it was the only thing that sparkled in my vision.
she's like a firefly that lights up in the dark.
beautiful.
i shook my head, remembering about the thoughts that i use to think about Jiyoon.
that girl still never leaves my mind.
