Corey was showing me around the clubhouse and introducing me to the players. He then walked me towards his locker where stood the rest of the boys I was assigned to.

"Guys! Listen, this is our new trainer Alani, treat her good alright." said Corey in a firm tone.

"Hello guys. You guys can call me Lani if you want, either or is fine." I said as I shook their hands.

"Nice to meet you Lani." they said in unison.

"Dang Seager, already guarding her from us?" said kiké as he winked at me. I couldn't help but blush.

"So where are you from?" asked joc.

"I have lived in Santa Monica my whole life. Now my sister and I live in Los Angeles." i said while taking a seat.

"Oh you have a sister?" said Trayce with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah, she's 20 and goes to USC." i said with a chuckle.

"Oh no shit. I have to meet this sister." said Trayce with a huge grin on his face.

"Okay, so since you're going to be our trainer, I think it's best if you have our number" said corey signaling for me to give him my phone.

"Lani don't fall for it, he's just trying to holla at you." said joc making corey blush.

I passed corey my phone and it made it's way to the group of boys. I get my phone back and see the contact "Daddy."

"Okay who put daddy?" I said looking at Kiké right away because he is the clown out of all of them.

None of them spoke up so I decide to call the number and I hear the ringtone come from of course, Kikés pocket.

"Listen "daddy," change it or I'll tell Roberts to send you back down to minors" I say with a wink.

"She is fiesty. Looks like I found myself a new best friend." says Joc laughing at Kiké as he changes his contact name.

"Anyways get to practice before I get fired on my first day. Then come to me so I can get your ice baths together." I say as I make my way to the training room.

"Okay, see you best friend." said joc as him and the boys leave the locker room.
"Goodbye Joc." i said.
