(Bipolar chapter here, but please read A/n after you read it all.)

We were now heading into the busiest and most important month of the regular season. September is important because we are fighting for the first place title in the NL west. We have 27 games in a month with 30 days. That says a lot.

We were starting up our 3 game series at home against the San Diego Padres and I was making my way to the stadium very early. It was a Friday and they boys had just come back home from Colorado last night. I had a bad stomach virus this week so coach gave me the week off.

I pulled into the stadium's parking lot and parked in the player/staff parking on the top deck levels. I grabbed my bags from my trunk and walked towards the front gate. I walked straight into the elevator and pressed 1 to make my way down to the field. Usually if I have free time and come early, I go down to field level behind the backstop and just sit and enjoy the view.

I have been super lucky to be in the spot I am today and I am extremely grateful. I was taking everything in when I realized more workers were walking around meaning I should get down to the clubhouse. I was walking in and noticed Joc and Trayce were laying on the couches on their phones.

"Hey losers." I said jumping on top of them. "Lani!" they both screamed with excitement. "I missed you best friend! Don't ever leave us with the grumpy old trainers next time please." Joc said hugging me.

"It couldn't have been that bad." I said sitting in between them.

"No, it was really bad." Trayce said shaking his head. I started laughing at them because they are a bunch of girls. "Where's your ugly ass boyfriend?" Joc asked me.

"He didn't come with you guys?" I asked confused because usually he's the first one here and comes with the boys.

"No, he said he would catch up, but I thought it was because you were picking him up or something." Joc said looking at me confused.

"No, but he'll be here soon." I said shrugging it off. I told him he could trust me so I'm not gonna be a crazy girlfriend and freak out.

"So, can I get a massage on my back today Lani." Trayce said taking his shirt off.

"Yeah, go to the table. I'll be there in a minute let me just put my stuff away." I said walking to my locker.

I was rubbing out Trayce knots and working his back out. He has been on the DL since July and he hates not being able to play so the trainer and I are really trying to get him healthy and back.

"LANS! Your phone is ringing!" Joc said running into the room with my phone in his hand.

"Who is it?" I asked Joc. "It says crazy ass bitch." He said laughing really hard/

"Answer it! Put it on speaker." I yelled quickly. Joc answered the phone for me since my hands were slippery with Icy Hot.

(Phone call between Crystal and Lani)

C: Helllllo Lani!

L: Hey cuz!

"Is that Crystal!?" whispered a smiley Joc. I nodded my head signaling it is her.

C: Are you doing anything today?

L: Yeah, we have a game today actually at 7 tonight.

C: Awhh man. Alright maybe another day.

L: I'm sorry... Another day for sure though!

C: Alright talk to you later.

L: Alrighty bye bye.
