Corey's Pov:

WE CONQUERED!!!

All of our families and friends were allowed on the field for celebration to be taken on the field. I was looking around everywhere and remembered that Alani wouldn't be here because she was down the street at Cedar Sinai.

I then felt hands cover my eyes from behind me and turned around to see my mom dad and brothers.

"Congratulations my love. We are so proud of you son." My mom said starting to cry. "Don't cry mom you're going to make me cry." I said hugging her.

"I'm just so proud of you son." she said wiping her tears. "I have you guys to thank." I said looking at my dad. He then pulled me in for a big hug. "Good job son." he said before letting go. "Good shit lil bro!" Kyle and Justin said giving me a hug. "But, I would've hit that home run a lot farther than you did." Kyle said teasing me. "Let's see next year." I said with a smirk knowing that his team has never made it to the world series. "Damn he got you." Justin said earning a look from Kyle.

"I have to go and join the team now, but you guys can head into the clubhouse with us after the ceremony and everything ok." I said putting on my Championship shirt. "Okay, go enjoy." my mom said waving me away.

"I just want to say how proud I am of you guys. You guys have given me every ounce of your hearts for this game and I couldn't ask for more. You guys have proven so many people wrong, but that wasn't what we were shooting for, we were shooting for proving ourselves. We put in all the hard work, we have push through long innings, we have pushed through hot games, we have pushed through 10+ away games, we have pushed through bullshit ass umpires. WE PUSHED OUR WAY HERE!" Skip yelled as we all sprayed champagne and beer everywhere.

The atmosphere was insane, every man in this room has had the dream of experiencing this moment since they were kids and we are living it. This is what we have worked for our whole lives.

~

After all the celebrations and drenching of alcohol, we head to Cedar Sinai little by little so we all didn't barge in at once.

I tried calling Alani but she wasn't answering her phone. I pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car along with Joc, Crystal, Justin, and Dave. We all walked in and the front desk automatically noticed us and had a nurse show us the way.

We walked into the room to Chase getting frustrated with the tv remote. "Hey old man." I said causing him to look our way. "Tell me, tell me everything. Please tell me you guys won." he said excited trying to get out the bed.

"Chase you need to stay in bed." Alani said laughing at his excitement. "Actually babe can you go get a wheelchair please." I said giving her a kiss before she went down the hall. "What's going on?" Chase said confused.

Alani walked in with a wheelchair and I scooted it in front of the bed. "You want to know what happened correct?" I asked Chase. "Yesssss." he said. "Then get your old ass in the wheelchair." I said then pushing him out his room.

We snuck him out the hospital and into a car and drove to the stadium. "What the hell are you guys doing with me." Chase asked asking about a million questions but we all ignored him.

I pulled into the empty parking lot of the stadium and parked by the left field pavilion gate. I hoped out the car along with Lani, Crystal, Joc, Layla, and Trayce. Joc grabbed the wheelchair out the back and helped me carry Chase and help him in the chair.

"You guys are insane you know that. You guys just kidnapped me from the hospital." Chase said as we strolled him onto the field. I pushed him in front of the dugout and has everyone of us to get into a position.

"Alright Vet we are going to run play by play. Sit back and enjoy." I said running to the batter's box to begin.

"Hold on boys, you're missing the narration." the legend said. "I will narrate play by play for this young man." Vin said sitting next to Chase.

We had the whole team with us by now and Vin did a great job. We even presented the trophy and shirt to Chase and it was like he never left. The man had a huge smile of his face and we were all just happy he was okay and healthy.

"So what do we do now that we baseball is over?" Joc asked like a sad child. (ME AF. DON'T WAKE ME UP UNTIL IT'S SPRING!)

"Well, we have to take the billy goat back. Party at our house next weekend for a celebration." Trayce said causing everyone to laugh. "Sounds good with me." Chase said. "You need to get better before you do any partying." Dave said being the party pooper.

We took him back before any nurse or doctor could noticed and promised him we would check on him. Jennifer, his wife, was going to stay night here with him and told us she would keep us updated. All of us were now heading over to the hotels after an exhaustive series. Our adrenaline and excitement was at a pause and I just wanted to knockout.

A/N: Hey guys! I can't believe our season is over. ): I was so sad, but I couldn't have asked for a better team. We had 25+ men on the DL this season, we lost our Ace for 2 months, we went through hell and back. I am so excited for next season because this team has so much to offer. Anyways, this is a short update but tomorrow I will update and it will be pushed a couple weeks in the story, now that there is no more games. ):

???

Who do you want to win, Cubs or Indians?

A: I wouldn't ever want to go for the team that knocked us out, but the cubs haven't won the world series in 108 yrs. As a Dodgers fan, I know the pain of that. Plus, I honestly think a team that has been top notch the whole season with 100+ wins deserves it in the end. I really do hate to say that because the Cubs are the ones to knock us out, but I hate the American League..... On the bright side, It isn't the Giants.
