Corey's Pov:

"Corey please, I don't need your help!" she said starting to get frustrated. "It's okay to ask for help Alani, I can help you. Please let me help. You're not alone." I said trying to help her somehow. Ever since her surgery, she hasn't been the same and I want that woman back.

"Corey! I didn't fucking ask for help. Why don't you get it, I don't need you." she said thrashing out all my anger at me. I was frozen and speechless when the last 4 words came out of her mouth. There was a different look in her eyes.

I couldn't help her if she wasn't willing to be helped. I was willing to do anything for her, but like she said, she doesn't need me. I kept quiet and simply just let her be. I turned towards the door and walked out.

I walked down the stairs and out the front door to my car. I heard the door open behind me as I was unlocking my door. "Corey! Corey! Where are you going?" Crystal yelled standing right in front of my drivers door.

"She doesn't need me! I'll go be needed somewhere else. Please move Crystal." I said putting my gears into reverse. She put her hands up in surrender and backed away from my car. I quickly left the driveway and headed back to my house.

I was driving down the streets of Los Angeles just blowing my steam out. I intended on driving home but the fresh air of November was feeling better. The skies were at golden hour, bright sunsets reflecting off the tall skyscrapers along sunset blvd.

I finally stopped at a liquor store that is a few blocks away from my house and bought a 6 pack of Budlight. I paid the cashier and headed back to my car along with a big bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.

I headed back to my house and started to pack while chugging down the beers. I don't really know where or what I am packing for, but I just need out of the city. I was almost done and ready to go before I heard a knock on my door. Before I could open the door, the doorknob twisted and opened to Trayce. I groaned knowing that he was going to give me a huge ass lecture assuming that Crystal called him.

I walked back to my bags and zipped up the zipper and grabbed my hat. "Please tell me you aren't leaving. Don't do anything stupid rook." Trayce said watching me act all over the place. "I'm doing exactly as she said, to leave, to go away. That's not stupid." I said standing in front of him waiting for him to move.

"Alani doesn't actually mean any of that dude. Think about it, imagine how you would feel if you had to get your dick chopped off. The body part that gives you your manhood. Think about it dude. Just give her time." Trayce said trying to stop me from leaving.

"Please move dude." was all I said before he simply moved to the side letting me go through.

I ran down the stairs knowing that my uber was awaiting for me. I jumped in the back along with my bags and directed the driver to take me to LAX. Was I making the right move? I don't know, but I just needed a break as much as Alani needs it. Everyone doesn't think about how I feel. The love of my life wants nothing to do with me and everyone expects me to be okay with that and just sit around and wait for her. I want my girl back but she doesn't want me, she doesn't need me.

I was now in my terminal waiting for my flight as I was strolling through my instagram. All the fans were being so supportive for Alani and they really loved her.

"Flight number 75 to Charlotte, North Carolina is ready, flight number 75 to Charlotte, North Carolina is ready." said the voice on the intercom. I grabbed my carry-on duffle bag and walked to my terminal gate. It was going to be a long flight back home.

~

"Excuse me sir, we have landed." the flight attendant said softly trying to wake me up. I opened my eyes expecting to see Lani next to me but was disappointed when all I saw was a grumpy old lady. "Thank you." I said as I got up from my seat.
