Chapter 32

Small update: w/ announcement.

Lani's pov:

We are now traveling back to Los Angeles, after a good few weeks of Spring Training. Everyone was so ready to be back home, and I couldn't blame them LA has the best weather. (Sometimes not really lol.)

Once we land, I plan on heading to my condo that now belongs to Ethan and I because Layla and Elle moved in with Trayce. Ethan was so happy to have the condo to himself and I wouldn't doubt if it is a mess when I get back. I just want to lay in my own bed again all to myself. I love sleeping and cuddling with Corey, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I just want a whole bed to myself and right now is one of those times.

Layla's Pov:

We had finally landed at LAX and Elle was sound asleep against my chest in her baby sling. As soon as I stood up, Trayce grabbed all of our carry on bags including the diaper bag. He was the best father to Elle that I could ever ask for, I never have to ask him for anything because he is always one step ahead of me.

"Baby, do you want me to carry Elle for you"? I'm sure your back is hurting." he said with his hand on my lower back.

"No, I'm okay. I just can't wait to be home already." I said as I covered Elle with her Dodgers blanket that her tio Corey bought her.

Sure enough, after about 30 minutes of congested airport traffic, we made it home. It is about 9am right now, and we have no plans for the day, so I think it's safe to say we are going to have a lazy day. It feels so good to be back in our home again. Arizona was fun believe me, but Los Angeles is where my heart is.

"She is passed out." I said, closing her door behind me.

"She slept the whole plane ride, how does she sleep so much." Trayce chuckled as he was getting the bed ready for our nap.

"Let's just nap for the next two days, how does that sound?" I said earning Trayce's pretty white teeth to show.

"Great minds think alike, but tomorrow is opening day Layla." He said stretching his long legs under the blankets.

"Awee Elle is going to see her daddy play for the first time tomorrow." I cooed while snuggling up into his warm body.

"This season, i'm going to make my girls proud." he said leaning down to kiss my head gently.

And off we went to sleep trying to get the most rest we can before the start of our long season to come.

"Trayce, wake up. It's gameday baby." I said smacking his butt.

"Ouch, your little boney hands hurt." he said rubbing the spot I just hit.

"Leave my little hands alone. Come on, the boys are surprisingly making a healthy breakfast downstairs so let's get moving." I said before making my way down to the kitchen.

Corey and Joc were making protein shakes and Kiké was feeding Elle her banana baby food.

"Thanks Kiké. Was she being fussy?" I asked while getting together Elle's snacks and milk for the long day.

"Elle is never fussy. She was just drooling a lot so I figured she was hungry." he said making airplane movements and noises with the spoon.

"I love you my little princess." I said softly squeezing her chubby cheeks.

"Are you guys going to baptize Elle?" Joc asked as he had a pink mustache from him shake.

I couldn't help but let out a small laugh, but I was nice enough to hand him a napkin before anyone else saw.

"Trayce and I were actually talking about that the other day. We want to, but we just don't know when it's the best time to do it." I said as on cue Trayce walked in.

"The best time for what? Having another kid?" he said with a very convincing smile.

"No retard, we are talking about baptizing Elle." I said laughing.

"Are you taking Godparent applications, or is there interviews you're having? Where can I sign up?" Joc said as he sat down looking like he was about to make the biggest negotiation of his life.

"That's cheating, you're practically begging." Kiké said trying to earn points.

"You guys are trying to be Godparents, yet you guys are acting like children yourself. Come on princess." Corey said cleaning Elle's messy face and picking her out of her highchair.

"You guys should take notes from him." I told the boys, while pointing at Corey.

"Can you knock up my sister already!" I yelled as he walked into the other room.

"Okay are you guys ready to head out? We are taking two cars right?" I asked the boys.

"Yeah, I think we are all ready. And yeah, I can take the boys in my car." Joc said grabbing his keys and wallet from the counter.

"Corey, let's roll. I need my child back." Trayce said before grabbing her.

"Alright we'll meet you guys there." Joc said walking to his car.

I then got Elle into her carseat and headed to the stadium with Trayce driving.

Small update, I am really trying for a double update tonight so let's hope I get it done.

So I know I said I was putting a limit of chapters to this story, but.... Forget the limit. I am going to stop this story when I feel like it's really near an end. I don't want to rush this story and turn it into crap for you guys. So I am going to finish strong but not too soon. (:
