Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Tuesday

"Alice wake up!" Someone yells. I try to force my eyes open but am too deep in sleep to. "Dan! Alice! wake up!" They yell again. I slowly open my eyes and get thrown off the bed causing me to become fully awake. "Oh shit! I'm so sorry!" Someone picks me up. I look at there face and it's Mitch. "Wait what?" I say, still groggy and half asleep.

Mitch grabs me by the shoulders and looks into my eyes. "Are you ok? Are you hurt?" He asks. I rub my eyes pushing his hands off my shoulders. "I'm fine... Why are you here?" I ask. Mitch looks at me puzzled and surprised. "Are you serious?" He asks. Lena appears behind him also surprised. I start to think. "Oh shit!" I speak as I realize that I forgot about going to LA.

I quickly turn around and look at the clock. "Dan wake up!" I yell jumping onto the bed. Dan moans covering his face with a pillow. I rip the pillow from his head messing up his hair. "Dan we are going to LA!" I yell again. He sits up."huh?" Dan says, his hair covering his face and he looked half asleep.

I laugh kneeling down on the bed beside him. I smile, grabbing him by the cheeks and give him a big kiss. Dan smirks now fully awake. He wipes his hair partially into place. I look at him smiling uncontrollably as always.

"Are you two done yet?" Lena says smirking. I laugh knowing she was joking. "Get your shit and let's go!" Mitch jokes again. "We will wait outside" Mitch says grabbing Lena by the hand. Lena and Mitch leave the room.

I look at Dan for a moment unable to move. Not sure where to start. "Well let's go!" He laughs. We both then get up in a rush. I run to my dresser and throw on a pair of black high wasted shorts and a red tee-shirt. I then used a red beanie to match the shirt and I combed through my long back hair to fix it up. I then run to the closet and slip on my black converse.

"Done!" I say looking at Dan. He smiles still struggling to put his skinny jeans on. I laugh grabbing the bag I had packed the day before along with Dan's bag. He appears behind me grabbing his bag from my hand "thanks" he says smiling. I then grab his free hand and walk with him outside.

Mitch and Lena were standing by the car. Dan approaches Mitch with my hand in his. "We can go in our car if you want?" Dan tells Mitch. "No it's fine" Mitch replies politely. "I insist, you drove all the way here... It's the least I can do, it's a lot of money for gas I'll drive." Dan insists. Mitch shrugs knowing there's no point fighting with him.

Dan brings me to the car opening the door for me into passenger seat. "You and Lena in the back?" Dan asks Mitch. Mitch helping Lena into the back seat and jumping in. Dan starts the car. "Everyone ready?" He asks. There is then a combination is yeses, and Dan pulls out of the drive way.

I turn around and look at Lena smiling. "I'm so excited" I squeal. Lena taps her feet around. "I know me too!". I laugh staring back at the road. I watch as cars pass us, wondering what we will do when we get there.

A ringing noise goes off in the back seat. "Oh my phone..." Mitch says taking his phone from his pocket. He looks to see who it is before answering. "Hey Adam" Mitch speaks enthused. Quickly turning it to speaker so we can all hear Adam. "Where are you guys now?" Adam asks.

"Well we literally just left..." Dan spoke his British accent giving me butterflies. "Literally..." I repeat with a giggle. He smirks. "Oh wow... Well we are like 15 minutes away from the house." Adam laughs through the phone. I hear music in the background on the phone. "And it's a party up in here!" Jerome yells.

Everyone on both lines of the phone laugh including me. Then there is a small moment of silence. "Did I tell you that Tyler is coming with Rosie" Adam said acting as if Jerome never commented. "No..." Mitch replied. "They won't get there till tomorrow" Adam tells us. "Ok." Mitch speaks into the phone. "I'll talk to you guys later" Adam says. "Kay bye" Mitch replies hanging up the phone.

"The GPS says like 6 hours..." Dan says unamused. Mitch shrugs. "Kay" Lena says distracted by her phone. Dan glances over at me smirking. I look at him and smile. It's going to be a long ride.
