Chapter 11

Chapter 11: moving on

The next morning I woke up early. Baylee slept in the hospital room with me to keep me company. Adam stayed for Dan, and Mitch stayed for Lena. I stand up in the center of the room and glance over at Baylee, debating whether to wake her. Then realizing we can leave today, I smile. "I should probably wake her up..." I whisper giggling slightly.

I tiptoe over to her and tap her on the shoulder softly. "Baylee... Wake up..." I speak softly. She jumps up. "What!?!" She yells. In realization she throws her hand on her mouth. "Oops..." Baylee whispers. I struggled to hold in laughter. "I want to leave..." I say ending the laughter.

Baylee reaches down to her bag and hands me some rolled up clothes. "I brought clothes for if you wanted to leave" she said with a smile.

I smile back grabbing the clothes. I walk to the bathroom and shut the door, locking it. As I turned around I found myself glancing at myself through the mirror. I study my face. Memorizing each scrape and bruise. A few scattered scratches on my cheek and forehead is all. Not as bad as Dan's.

I take off the hospital gown and put my black jean shorts on along with my bra. Looking back in the mirror I see a massive bruise on my waist. It was just a big purply patch on my side. I grab the teeshirt Baylee had grabbed for me was light blue. After putting it on I realized the logo. It was a shirt from Dan's merchandise website. "Why..." I whisper rolling my eyes. Just a way to make me and Dan more awkward.

I then step out of the room and Baylee stands up. I smirk at her and give her a look and she blushes realizing what she had done. "Oh... I'm sorry... I didn't realize..." She realized panicked. I shrug. "It's fine! Don't worry about it! Lets go..." I reply. Baylee nearly sprints after me as I leave the room, becoming slower as she reaches me. "Let's get Lena and Mitch first" I smile. Baylee nods and I follow her.

We finally reach the door and she opens it. I step in after her. Mitch is laying on the bed next to Lena and they both are still sound asleep. I look at Baylee. "What do we do?" I mouth to her staying completely silent. Baylee shrugs raising her eyebrows. I smirk for some odd reason. I take a small glance at my phone and it says it's already 10:00. Stepping closer to the bed it tap Mitch's arm. He twitches slightly but won't wake up. "Mitch! Lena! wake up!" I say allowed but not yelling.

Both of them open there eyes and Mitch sits up stretching. Lena looks up at Mitch and they both smile. "Me and Baylee are gonna leave are you coming?" I ask. Mitch rubs his eyes still waking up then looks at Lena letting her reply. "Of course! If I'm allowed..." Lena replies. I nod and give her a nice big smile. Baylee whips out an outfit from her bag for Lena. "Here..." Baylee says with a big smile handing Lena the clothes.

"Thanks..." Lena grinned. Me and Baylee stepped out of the room and walked deeper down the hall to Dan's room. I knocked on the door to be polite. At first nobody answered. I knocked again. I was about to open the door when the door opened itself. As I looked up I realized the door hadn't open by itself, but it had been opened by Dan. "Hi..." He grinned opening the door more.

I got butterflies and could tell I was blushing for no apparent reason. Dan stepped aside letting us go in. Baylee pushed me aside to run to Adam. Little did she know she had pushed me strait into Dan's chest and I nearly feel. I pushed Dan against the door and he just froze. He looked petrified in this uncomfortable awkward situation. I stepped off of him blushing. "Oh... Im so sorry..." I looked to the side awkwardly. "Uh... It's fine" he stuttered.

I glances at Baylee and gave her a look like oh my god what did you do. She replied by shrugging with a little giggle and Adam smiled. I stepped deeper into the room and Daniel shut the door behind me. "Well we were going to go to the flat... Do you want to leave with us?" I looked at Adam, avoiding any eye contact with Dan. Adam smiled. "Yes... Definitely!" He exclaimed. I nod smiling back.

Dan appeared next to me. "I'll go too." Dan replied. I could tell he was looking at me but I was scared to look back. "Ok... We are gonna go to the car." Baylee said getting off Adam. She kisses him goodbye quickly and I just gave Dan a small smirk. I then followed Baylee into the hall and we started towards the car.
