I wake up with a slight headache, and body is sore. My side is in pain. The last thing I remember is Arod angry face, and his fists. Then everything just stopped. This is not my bed. I look around to see a nice kept room.
It has wood floors, pictures of various sports teams, a bookcase filled with books, a guitar, and a desk. This is not my room or apartment, and this is not Arod's place. Then it hits me, I'm in Macarevhic's place. I remember when he scared off Arod last night. I look down to see I'm wearing one of his shirts and some sweat pants. I get out of the bed slowly. I limp over to the small mirror on the light blue wall.
I have a big white bandage on the side of my face, and my eye is swollen, I have little small cuts on my jaw. I look for my phone and I find it on the night stand, I have twenty unread messages, all from Arod.
I already know what they say; "I'm so sorry Ebony." I won't do it again Ebony." "I've brought something for you." "I love you and I want to work this out." Its all a bunch of Bull! I can't shake the scary feeling from what he said. I open the door and the hallway looks empty. I find my clothes from yesterday, they are freshly washed and folded.
Wow, I can't believe Macarevhic saved me like that. At this point I don't even know my feeling for him anymore. I don't even know who I am anymore. Arod would rather to have me dead before I be with somebody else. I put on my shoes, hopefully everybody is asleep so I can sneak out quietly. I grab my clothes and cell phone, and begin to walk in the hallway.
This house is not big but it's nice. It's ten times nicer than Ivory and I apartment. Ivory, must be worried sick about me. I'll call her when I get on the bus. I walk into the living room and I hear pots and pans in the kitchen. I can smell bacon and eggs. Darn it, somebody is up. I'm just gonna have to face this. I walk into the kitchen to see Macarevhic, cooking. I stare at him intensely. I swear this boy is fine.
He looks up at me and our eyes meet. "Good morning, Angel," greets Macarevhic with his beautiful smile. "I cooked us some eggs and bacon." he says cheerfully. This dude done cooked me some breakfast. What is his deal? Why is he always so nice and kind hearted. Ain't nobody this nice for no reason, unless they want something.
"What you deal dude?" I ask him. Macarevhic sets the plate on the small woodened table. "What do you mean Ebony?" "You why are you so nice, you want something from me? You gonna change on me just like everybody has?
I don't have time for this I need to get home." I walk briskly to the door, but Macarevhic is much faster than me and blocks the door. "Move outta my way boy." I command. "Not until you tell me where you getting this stuff from. I'm just trying to help you." he says sincerely.
"Well I don't need your help or anybody else's I can handle this on my own. Now get out of my way!" I say firmly, with a look that could melt ice. "Fine ebony, I will leave you alone." He moves out of my way. I get on the bus to go home."
