I've been on and off of the road for two years now. Every day of these two year I still miss her like crazy. My career has sky rocked; I'm the new R&B sensation. I wasn't expecting for my life to be like this. I've changed in a lot of ways. Now that I have a chance, I need my Ebony back.
Two years is more than enough time. I've been keeping up with her a little bit. I know she's at Spelman University, and she's studying drama. She was voted prom queen at the high school prom. She even graduated with a 4.0 she's doing good. "Hey, Macarevhic you're due on stage." I get up from the chair and I look into the dressing room mirror. I say a quick prayer and I put my shades on.
I'm lead on to the stage. I can hear thousands of fans screaming my name. The energy is hot tonight. "HOW YA'LL DOING TONIGHT?" I yell over the screaming crowd. "ARE YOU READY?" I yell again. This makes the crowd go even crazier. The fans are crazy. I've had plenty of girls sneak into my hotel room. Trust me they have been tempting, but I can't stop thinking about Ebony. The music starts to play, and I sing my hit song, "Coming Back Home to You."
I wrote it for Ebony, because little does she know I will be coming back home to her sooner than she thinks. After the concert is done I go back into my dressing room and I change out of these nice, expensive but uncomfortable clothes, into some gym shorts, and a white t-shirt. "Hey, Macarevhic good show bro." Pico greets me with a handshake.
After Pico graduated he joined me on my second tour. Pico is my brother and I'm gonna look out for him. "Thanks man." I sit in my chair and Pico has his arms draped around the shoulders of two girls. I'm glad he's finally got his tenderonis.
I smile at my joke. "Hey, ladies give me and boy a few minutes." Pico dismiss the girls. He close my dressing room door. "Macarevhic dude you made it. You are the king!" Pico shouts. He jumps on the white couch. "Hey, dude stop before you get the couch dirty." I scold. "Man, you got big money. You can buy a million new couches. I laugh. "So, what's next for you?" Pico ask.
"I'm going back home." I tell him. Pico opens a bottle of water. "For what?" he asks suspiciously. "I'm going to get my woman." I answer him confirmedly. "You still on Ebony? You know what; I think you should go get her. It's crazy that you're still in love with her.
But how do you know she ain't moved on?" "That doesn't' matter. Ebony is my woman and I'm not leaving Atlanta until she's with me. I don't care who she's with." I'm coming back home. My mom and Abuela flew out to see a few of my concerts, they are even moving to a nicer neighborhood in Atlanta in a few weeks. I brought them a house in Buck Head. I pack my bag, and I go outside to my limo. I'm greeted by more intense screaming fans. I stop and sign a few autographs and take a few pictures.
I love my fans they feel like family to me. I get into the limo. "Lucas take me to the airport." I tell my driver. Ten minutes later I'm at the airport and I rush in. I'm recognized by paparazzi. They follow me around. They are yelling questions at me. I keep my head down. I'm focused on Ebony. I get on a first class flight to Atlanta. I'm ready to see her. I need Ebony to be with me again. I want to share my new life with her. I smile knowing that I'm just hours away from seeing my Angel.
