It's been two years already and I haven't seen Macarevhic. Well I see him on TV. He's doing really well. He's number 1 on the r&b charts. That doesn't mean that I'm not still in love with him. I'm in a better place, I'm smiling more. I feel free. I'm at college with my best-friend Sherese. Macarevhic blew up, and he's doing very well. I'm so proud of him. I wish I was able to tell him that.
Sherese and I walk through campus catching up about our professors and class work. I'm studying drama, I figured out I wanted to act, and I'm pretty good at it. I even got the lead role in our upcoming play. "Girl, I'm ready to graduate already!" Sherese exclaims.
I laugh at her. "You just started here." "And, this is working my nerves, and a lot of these girls are snobby. I should trip a couple of them while they are walking." I laugh again. Sherese is so crazy.
I hear loud screaming out of nowhere then I swear, I heard somebody say It's Macarevhic Cortez! I stop dead in my tracks, refusing to go where the screaming mob is at. "Ebony that's Macarevhic. He's back."
"Sherese please, that's somebody playing a cruel joke." I tell her. The screaming gets louder, and they are chanting his name. Something in my heart is telling me, to run towards that screaming crowd, and go see if its' really Macarevhic. I feel Sherese gently nudge my elbow. "Come on let's go." I tell her. "Are you sure Ebony? That could be him looking for you." "Girl please he's too big time for me." Sherese gives me the girl please look. "Ebony, your man is back there now you need to go get him, before I drag you over there myself." Sherese demands I roll my eyes. We start to walk to the screaming crowd.
With every step my heart is beating uncontrollably. "If this is a joke Sherese, I'm going to hit you." I tell her. I catch her smirking. I roll my eyes at her. When we get to the crowd, it's too big and we can't see anything. "You see we can't even see the dude, now can we go." I snap at her.
I know he's there and I don't want him to reject me. "'Ebony, he's here for you. So stop acting mad and look cute." Sherese tells me. Then I see Macarevhic pushing through the crowd of people. We lock eyes and he grabs my hand and we start to run to his limo. We quickly get in and the driver drives off.
Did that just happened? I look at Macarevhic and he looks different. He got more a swagger to him, not that he didn't have swag before, he's just different. In a good way. We both stare at each other. I guess we're wondering if this is real. I feel like crying.
"Hi," he says. I laugh. "Hi, Macarevhic." I smile at him. "Angel it's been two years now and I want to say I never stop thinking about you. Angel, I've come back to take you with me. We can go anywhere; I just want you with me. When I was on tour and recording my Cd there has been thousands of girl coming after me, but I never tried any of them, because I couldn't stop thinking about you. Angel I am truly in love with you and I want us to pick up where we left off." I grab a Kleenex and I wipe my eyes.
He stills loves me. "Macarevhic, I haven't stop thinking about you either. When I broke up with you it felt like I had this huge hole in my heart that only you can feel. I still love you and I would love if we could pick up where we left off." We smile back at each other, and we kiss passionately. I missed him so much. I feel complete again. Macarevhic and I drive around the city and we talk and laugh. It feels like old times.
"Angel let's go somewhere." he suggests. "Go where?" I ask him razing one of my eyebrows. "Anywhere you want to go." he tells me looking in my eyes. I shrug my shoulders. "Umm, I would like to see New York." I joke. "Okay New York it is." she says. "Wait are you serious?" I ask him. "Yes," he smiles at me. "Let's just go for the weekend. Lucas takes us to the airport.
The driver turns around. "Macarevhic you don't have to." I tell him. "Angel you are my heart and there's nothing in the world I wouldn't do for you." Tears fall from my eyes. Macarevhic gently wipe them away. Macarevhic and I walk through the airport and he buy us first class tickets to New York. We board the plane and I sit back in my seat. I look over at him and he's smiling at me. I still can't believe he's back in my life. I close my eyes. God thank you for letting him come back to me.
The End!
