I angrily throw the plate of food into the garbage and angrily begin to clean up. "Macarevhic." mama's voice calls. I turn to look she's standing in the door way. Her tan robe closed and she's wearing her fuzzy bunny slippers, the one's she has had for six years.
"I'm alright mama." I lie. "No you're not, Macarevhic you can't help her unless she wants your help. You have done all you can do for her, and she's in trouble." "Mama I know that, I'm just trying to protect her." I take a seat at the wooden table and bury my hands in my face. "Why is she so important you need to protect her. Tell me the truth miel, why is this girl so important to you?" I smile briefly to myself.
"Mama she's important because I'm in love with her. Her situation reminds me of our old one. I just felt like I need to protect her." Mama takes a seat next to me, and she grabs my hand.
"Oh miel, that could only be the only reason why you dong this. Macarevhic you can't love her forever if she doesn't love you. I understand how you feel but you can't make her love you. Maybe one day she'll come to her senses."
"What if she doesn't mama?" I ask hopeless. "Then it's wasn't meant to be miel." I listen to her advice, but I can't imagine how I would be able to handle the fact that Ebony will never love me. I know I can be good for her, and I can't even begin to think about hitting her. Or calling her out of her name. I would never treat Ebony bad; I know that for a fact.
