I'm so sick of her pushing me away. One minute we are having fun and everything is okay, and then she goes and snaps out on everyone. "Ebony, I'm not leaving you. You might be used to people leaving you but I'm not going anywhere. Just stop pushing me away. I look into your eyes and I can see you don't want me to go." She starts to cry and I hug her. I'm not letting her go.
After I'm done visiting Ebony I kiss her and I leave. I'm not going home I'm looking for Arod. This is it if I kill him then oh well. I'm so sick of him beating up on women. I'm about to see how he can fight up against a man. I see his car parked at a local club.
I wondering is should go in or just wait. But waiting could take hours. I get out of my car walk t o the door. I know the bouncer, from when I used to be in the streets. He lets me in free of charge, because I took care of a "problem" for him a while back. That memory makes my bones chill. I've only killed two people and it stills gets to me to this day. Being in this club takes me back. One thing about the streets, you can change but the streets stay the same. I see a lot of people I know. I spot Arod flirting with a girl, and she's flirting back.
She's nothing more than a prostitute. I walk over to Arod and I punch him in the nose. He falls off of the bar stool. No talking just fighting. "Are you out of your d**** mind?!" Arod yells. I punch him again back to back. I used to do boxing for a while a couple of years back.
Everybody in the club is watching and recording. Arod hits me about three times but he goes for my stomach and my sides. He's so used to hitting females that he can't fight like a man. I swear I thought this dude was trying to pull my hair. The fight lasts for another twenty minutes or so, and I'm straight beating Arod down.
The street fighter in me has never left. The bouncer guides me out. The next morning Pico calls me and tells me that Arod had to go to the hospital. "Dude Macarevhic I saw your video on ghetto fights website and dude you is like a ghetto ninja or something. First you take Ebony and then you take Arod's respect. You the best Macarevhic.
Do you know how many tenderonis I'm gonna get now because of you?" I laugh. "Man I'm just trying to protect my girl. He has put his hands on her one too many times. I fought before it was nothing." "Yeah I hear you man, but don't let this girl take you back to your old self Macarevhic. You worked too hard to go back to your past." I'm silent for a moment.
"I know Pico." Mama bust into my room. "Macarevhic how dare you?" "Pico let me call you back." I hang up and stare at my mama likes she gone loco. "Mama what's wrong with you?" "I'm at the hospital and the staff is laughing at a video of you beating up on someboy!"
Mama is fuming and I'm a little scared to say or do anything." Mama it's not what you think." "I don't want to hear it, Macarevhic you are starting to back pedal in that stuff you used to do. You've been doing so well. Why would you go and beat him up?"
"Mama he beat up on Ebony yesterday, I had to do something." "I don't want you to be with Ebony is she's gonna make you turn back to your old self, and I don't like how she treats you. I told you Macarevhic this relationship can be a good one or a bad one. Ebony ain't healed she's still angry and depressed and that's gonna bring you down. Macarevhic you have a lot going for yourself. I think you need to let Ebony go."
No way I'm letting her go. I'm in love with her. Yeah she's difficult to love at times but she's mine. I'm not gonna love another girl the way I love her. I know she will change if I can just wait a little longer she'll change and we'll be happy.
I love Ebony and I'm not giving her up just because the relationship is a little difficult right now. "Mama I ain't giving her up, I love her." Mama looks at me with a scary and intense stare. "If you get into another fight you're out of here." She walks out of my room slamming the door behind her. I sigh I just need a day or two of peace. The only thing that seems peaceful is my Abulea.
