The Alpha's, The Omega's, And The Beta's

Chapter 43

"Shift," Ashley said talking to Avi and Todrick.

They shifted and so did Ashley. "What the hell? What are you fighting about?"

Avi dropped his head in shame while Todrick just stood there and kept silent.

"Fine. Be that way don't tell me why you were fighting and lose your other half for a day. Call it an isolation punishment."

Ashley turned towards Kevin and Kirstin. "Stay outside while your Alpha's go to their rooms and stay there until further notice."

Avi and Todrick walked back into the house and to their own rooms without saying a word to each other. Ashley shifted back and walked off with Jasmine behind her to go find Scott. They found Scott and Mitch playing with each other in a clearing not far from the house. 

Ashley saw them and couldn't help but shift and watch them in awe. She stood there while Jasmine was sitting next to her but eventually she heard Jasmine's stomach rumble. Ashley bent down next to her told her. "Go back to the house I'll be there in a few. Put clothes on will go out to eat tonight. OK?"

Jasmine nodded and ran off towards the house. Ashley cleared her throat to get their attention which didn't work so she just went to her thought and sent a mind link to everyone. 'Met me at the house. Shift. We're going to go out to eat. Mitch and Jasmine Shift in the privacy of your own room, please.'

Scott and Mitch stopped playing when they got the message and looked up to see Ashley standing there. "You know if you had your sense on at all times like your suppose to, you have been able to tell there was a fight between the Pack and that I have been standing here for at least a half hour watching you guys play."

Scott shifted before speaking. "Sorry, I just was having too much fun I guess."

"It's fine this time but next time I won't be so nice. I'll race you back to the house."

"You're on."

Scott and Ashley shifted and began racing with Mitch following behind them. Ashley got to the house first where she saw Jasmine, Kirstin, Kevin, Todrick, and Avi were standing waiting on the rest of the pack which was Ashley, Scott, and Mitch.

Ashley shifted back and went to Jasmine who did not look very happy. "What's wrong?"

Ashley was standing in front of Jasmine when Jasmine answered. "Nothing. I'm fine."

Scott and Mitch went upstairs and Ashley grabbed Jasmine's wrist and brought her into the living room to talk to her. Ashley sat down on the couch and pulled Jasmine on top of her. "Why do you even try to lie to me you know I'm gonna be able to tell? Tell me what's wrong?"

"I just really wanted to have a chance to finish what we started in the woods before we were interrupted before supper. But of course, our pack always gets in our way."

"Oh, I'm sorry, baby. How about tonight we can finish and I won't let anyone interrupt us."

"Well, I was hoping tonight we could maybe try again."

"OK. We can you want to do it outside or inside?"

"Outside at our spot, please before your rut."

Ashley leaned into Jasmine's ear before whisper/growling. "You know it's almost full moon don't you?"

"Yes, Alpha, I know and I can tell by how you are acting and how all the other Alpha's are acting."

"I''m sorry you know what the full moon does to me and all Alpha's for that matter. But, I think we should eat before we discuss this any further."

Scott and Mitch were in walking into the living room at that point. "I think that's a good idea," Scott said walking past Ashley to go outside and get to his car.

Ashley jumped when she heard Scott say that. "How long were you there for?"

"I just came downstairs I didn't hear anything except for getting food. So, let's go."

"Alright, alright. Calm down I'm coming."

Jasmine stood up so Ashley could stand up. Ashley grabbed the car keys and walked outside and everybody got in her car too tired to drive themselves.

They went to Mitch's choice of restaurant which was a pizza place. They went home after eating Todrick and Avi going into their own bedrooms by themselves to be alone for the rest of the night or until Ashley came to talk.

Ashley talked to Todrick knowing she was going to get the best answer about what they were fighting about.

Ashley knocked on the door and walked in when she heard a 'come in.'

"Hey, T can you tell me what you and Avi were fighting about today?"

"We were fighting about the ability to mark. I can't mark Kevin like Avi can mark Kirstin. Then he started talking about my rut how I can't just automatically assume that I can share it with Kevin I have to ask and get permission before I'm allowed to share it with him and it pissed me off so I attacked him. I'm really sorry, Ashley, I didn't mean to he just ticked me off. I hope I didn't interrupt you."

"It's ok with me but it was hard to stop. I understand you get more defensive when a full moon comes up we all do. You might want to apologize to my Omega though about the interrupting part."

Ashley walked out of Todrick's room and walked to Avi's room and knocked and walked in once granted permission.

"Why did you antagonize Todrick about marking and his rut especially around the full moon?"

Avi sighed before answer. "I didn't think he was going to attack me I thought we were just talking and it wasn't going to cause him to attack me."

Ashley didn't answer just walked out of the room and downstairs where the rest of the pack was. "I'm going out Scott's in charge."

Ashley walked towards the door with Jasmine following behind her. They walked outside and they shifted and went to the spot and Ashley did what she promised to Jasmine earlier but this time was able to do it in wolf form.

A/N: a Rut is like an Alpha's version of a heat. And a full moon makes an Alpha horny and want to mark their mate of they have found one. I'm gonna let your mind wonder with that last sentence ya'll have dirty minds as it is.
