*Carrie-Lee's POV*

"Carrie-Lee, it's time to wake up!"

I sigh and get up out of bed after Niall knocks on my door. I lock it every night so they can't come in. After everything that happened a few days ago, I don't want much to do with them anymore.

He wiggles the doorknob, and I hear him sigh when he realizes it's still locked.

"Carrie-Lee, please don't do this. I know you don't believe us anymore when we say it, but we really do love you. You mean so much to us, and you're killing us by doing this. It isn't our decision, it's management and you know that. If we could take you with us, we would. But we can't..." He whispers from outside the door.

I just stare at the door, deciding on opening it. But I don't.

Instead, I get up and walk into my closet to find an outfit for my first day of school.

I've come to terms that no matter how much I argue, fuss, beg, and whine, I still have to go back to school. To be honest, I guess I knew all along I'd have to eventually go back, but I just didn't want to believe it. But this time, things are going to be different. I won't let people, or the things they say get the best of me. I won't let anyone push me around and treat me like I'm nothing. I'll fight back. And you know why? Because I'm not nothing. I'm something. I'm different, I'm original, I'm unique. I'm me. And to me, that's more than nothing.

I go through every rack and drawer of clothing I own, but I still can't decide on what to wear.

It's your first day, so you need to make an impression. Something that says a new you.

I grab a pair of blue skinny jeans and top with a faded British flag on it and go into the bathroom to take a shower.

I wash my hair with apple scented shampoo and I use vanilla coconut body wash. I shave my legs and turn off the shower.

I dry myself off and put lotion on my legs before slipping on my skinny jeans. I blow dry my hair and curl it into tight rings. I put on natural make up with dark black eyeliner and a few coats of mascara making my eyes pop. I use a bobby pin to pin back my bangs. I put on a few bracelets to cover up recent cuts and scars.

I go into my room and put on my blue TOMS, and I slip on one of Harry's old Jack Wills hoodies. I grab my backpack full of school supplies and my iPhone, and go downstairs.

I walk into the kitchen first and I'm thankful to see it's empty. I sit down at the kitchen island and grab an apple out of the fruit basket to eat.

I take my iPhone out of my back pocket and play a few rounds of Candy Crush while I finish eating. I throw the apple core in the trash and wash my hands before leaving the kitchen. I sit on the couch in the living room and turn the tv on while I wait for the lads to come downstairs.

I sit and wait for about fifteen more minutes before I hear footsteps. I turn around and see Zayn and Harry going into the kitchen, not even noticing me in the living room. Niall comes down a bit later, but he notices where I am and joins me on the couch.
