Everything was nice, Cass checked in on the other three at around the same time each day, so Lyle always checked his phone around that time. It was nice to have her back, even though she wasn't able to do as much as she could before.

Before she could stay on for awhile, but now she got exhausted just from sitting up. Walking wasn't easy either, what used to be a simple task now became a chore. She had to wear full leg braces on both legs, which were light seeing as it wasn't like a cast it was more of just straps trying to keep her legs in place but they were still hard to move around in.

Sleeping was something she did a lot before but now she slept ten times more. She also missed Lyle, his presence was nice and content. Now she just stayed in bed, staring at the ceiling of her hospital room.

Her family had to go back to their normal lives, so Cass stayed a lone most of the time until a nurse came or someone of that matter. Currently she was in the rehabilitation portion of the hospital, so it was a bit quieter which meant a lot more dozing off.

She constantly tried bending her legs, endlessly resulting in pain and giving up. Now she laid flat staring out the window at about two in the afternoon. She thought mostly, about how much she was missing, about how much she could've done, and about how much of an impact this was on her. Too much, she sighed putting her head back on her pillow.

It has been about three weeks since she had woke up. It was April now, so getting a college application in would be nice, but her condition at the moment was so unpredictable that she didn't bother. She  was stable but her walking was a bit unstable. Her breathing was still a bit unstable too, rehabilitation was ten times harder with the combination of unstable legs and lungs.

Right as she was about to look away from the window the nurse came in telling her that it was time for her to try to walk. This was an attempt that was made every week to no avail, sure she got better at it but she never could succeed.

When she got to the place to walk she stood up, trying not to fall she took one step, painful, and another, aggravatingly painful, and another, excruciatingly painful. At that moment giving up was an option, but she kept going, one step after another the pain rising she finally did it, she finally walked again. She immediately fell back into her wheel chair tiredly as she finished, but she was still happy.

As soon as she got back into her room she decided to tell the others.

[Ca]: Hello!
[Nin]: Heya.
[Ly]: Hi, how are you feeling?
[Ca]: Tired but I actually walked a nice distance today which was relieving.
[Nin]: Oh my god that's amazing!
[Ly]: That's great! If you want I can visit over spring break next week, if you don't mind.
[Ca]: Not at all.
[Wi]: If Lyle's going I'm going.
[Nin]: Might as well tag along too, it'll be nice seeing all of you.
[Ca]: It'll be great to see you guys!
[Ly + Nin]: It's really no problem!

A few minutes after that Cass put her phone down, silently bursting with joy at the fact she would be able to see all of them in person. This was a thought that made her the happiest she had ever been.
