She finally arrived, the air of the airport smelled thickly of pastries and food due to the multiple restaurants that had lined the cafeteria area of it. She took a taxi to his house, he still lived with his family which currently consisted of his biological mother, biological father, younger sister, and older sister aka Ginger, she liked this because he used to live with his step mom and two siblings which they both agree was the worst.
He technically lived in the dorm on the college campus but he said he usually went home to there and moving out didn't seem like a priority until after graduation. She arrived at his home and walked up toward the door, she rang the doorbell and a shorter older Korean woman opened the door. "Hi I'm here to see Lyle." She said, smiling. The woman smiled and spoke with a thick oriental type of accent, "Ah, you must be Cass, Lyle told me to tell you that he was at work and you can meet him there if you'd want." She nodded and the woman wrote down the address of the cafe and Cass left in search of it.
She found it and walked in, Bandit sat near the entrance and stood up walking toward Cass, his tail was wagging and he nudged her leg with his nose. She pet him and he followed her as she seated herself. Lyle walked towards the table, he was in a fancy cafe waiter uniform with a white dress shirt, black dress pants, a black tie, and black dress shoes. She honestly thought he looked as handsome as ever in it.
"It's wonderful to see you again Cass." He smiled and another waiter yelled across the restaurant, "WOW LYLE YOU REALLY ARE GOOD WITH GIRLS!" Lyle glared over at the other waiter who was European with light blue shirt curly shaved-at-the-sides dyed hair and a small mole right below the left edge of his mouth. "That's my dorm-mate and co-worker, Bobby." Right as Lyle said that Bobby looked over and winked, giving a thumbs up towards the two of them.
Cass laughed a little bit and Lyle brought her back some coffee, "I'm leaving in about thirty minutes, you can stay if you'd like." He said, she responded "Of course!" She smiled and the thirty minutes passed by quickly. They headed out right after having a conversation with Bobby and his boss, Winona. Winona was a taller skinny girl with long velvet dyed red hair and pale skin. She was stern but nice and let Lyle leave early that day.
They walked back to his house, when they arrived the woman answered the door again, it was his mother who was tiny compared to him. Cass followed him in, his house was nicely sized and she introduced herself to his dad who looked quite similar to him and his younger sister Lily. They both sat down on the couch and just spoke.
Most of the time they flirted but other times they talked about life and joked about stupid stuff. She didn't get to talk to the rest of this family as they all mostly spoke Korean and Lyle refused to translate some of the phrases that were said.
It got late and they all ate dinner, it was delicious and Cass enjoyed it a lot. When they finished up she went and sat back down while Lyle sat beside her. They all spoke for awhile before she decided to go to bed early and Lyle followed, they both did well... something that wasn't sleeping... Let's just say each other yea that's a great answer, afterwards they finally did fall asleep.
{this didn't publish right at first smh but anyway today's September twenty first so happy birthday Cass.}
