As it neared closer and closer to the end of Cassie's stay in England. As the last day dawned they sat at a cafe in the morning talking amongst each other.
"You wanna know where we should go?" She said, drinking tea and gazing at Lyle whom was sitting across from her at the small cafe table.
"Hmm?" He hummed questioningly as he sipped his hot coffee.
"We should go to Petites in Newfoundland, Canada. It's really nice there, well as nice as it can be for a place no one lives in anymore."
"Did you live there Cass?"
"Yea when I was really little, I was born in Scotland but when I was three I moved there. It was really nice for awhile until the population totally depleted due to the fishing industry dropping and my mom passed away, so I moved to England for that year and a half. Now Petites has no residence left in it from what I know."
"Yikes, You've lived in a lot of places huh?"
"Yea nice to see the world and all but settling down in one spot is even better.""...we could settle down somewhere sometime in the future, I mean not now because I'm in college but you get the gist." He spoke quickly and blushed a little bit.
"As long as I'm with you I'm happy no matter what we do." She smiled and they held each others hand as they rested their forearms on the table. They finished up and paid before leaving and walking back to his place. Her plane left in a few hours so she was already packed when they got back. They sat down and Bandit sat near by, they didn't say a word. They didn't need to say a word, all they had to do was look at each other to feel satisfied. After a minute of silence it was finally broken by Cass telling a joke which resulted in hysterical laughter for quite awhile.
They joked and laughed for what felt like an eternity. They told any story they could think of and ended up waking Ginger who was very unhappy with her sudden awakening.
After they finally stopped laughing Cassie finally switched the tone of the conversation.
"About the marriage thing... you were serious right...?" She asked and he nodded.
"Cass of course, if I could marry anyone I'd marry you in a heartbeat." He smiled and she couldn't help but smile.
"I'll wait patiently until after your graduation, we've got awhile to think about it huh?" She said.
"Yea, two years."
"Two years."They kissed and then she realised the time. She had to head out before any more time slipped away and they bid each other farewell at the air port. The flight home wasn't too bad it was just lonely, she didn't enjoy being without him but she understood now that their relationship would be as long term as it could be, and she was happy for whatever the future may hold for her and Lyle.
