It was getting close to the arrival of the three, so Cass was very happy, she tried recovering as quickly as she could which was turning out pretty ok. She could walk a bit but not too much, it would take her another two weeks until a chance that she'd be able to go home. Now she could leave but she'd have to have a wheel chair, she couldn't risk lung failure from exhaustion from walking.
She read quite a lot while she was at the hospital, Lyle sent her stuff too. He sent her books and sketchbooks, most books weren't written by him but one actually was a story written in an old journal. It was a story he had written about the philosophy behind well about everything. The way he drew and wrote was marvellous, each word he wrote was calming and content and each drawing he drew was spectacular and nice to look at and observe.
He had sent her a vinyl from a band they both enjoyed listening to, she had it on a dresser in her current room so she could listen to it at her home. Lyle made her, well, happy. He was kind throughout these about four weeks of rehabilitation and was happy to help her. Everything he sent he always had a note with it, she kept them in a pile near the stuff on the dresser and read them whenever she felt she needed to.
She could learn a lot about him through his works. His art and writings were usually serene and gave off a sense of silence and peace. Cass wrote a little bit, she never really thought of sending anybody her works until now when she decided she could send Lyle a story or two. His works also expressed his compassion for scientific research, specifically astrology. Seeing as he was going to college for Aeronautical Engineering of course he had a particular liking of astrology.
Now that she had spent a day reading and observing, she decided to sleep. Usually excitement over powers sleep but Cass could sleep whenever and where ever, she considered this a talent of sorts. The next day the three would arrive and she knew it would be very, very great.
