Chapter Thirty

Today was the last day the three would be in Stockholm, there Cass laid huddled up next to Lyle feeling his skin and running her fingers through his hair. He was awake and smiling as he leaned over to kiss her, "Good morning." He mumbled pushing pieces of his hair out of his face.

"Morning." She said getting dressed, he didn't look while she got dressed due to the fact he thought that if he did he considered it disrespectful. After she finished getting dressed he got dressed and met her out in the living room. "My flight leaves at four." He said sitting down on her couch.

"It's upsetting to see you guys leave." She said sitting up,
"I'll probably just go back to work tomorrow because I'm out of the hospital." She sighed.
"Where do you work?"
"Local bookstore, you work anywhere?"
"A small cafe in London, I asked for this week off so I could see you, my boss is just a girl I go to college with so she's pretty chill to be honest."
"Nice, you want some breakfast?"
"Sure."

She made them both pancakes, and when she gave him his plate he immediately covered the whole thing in whipped cream and dropped a strawberry on top. It barely looked like pancakes anymore it looked like a plate of whipped cream with a strawberry on top, she laughed when she saw it and they both ate while watching the news.

"I don't understand a word of what this news anchor is saying." He said, squinting at the t.v. because he didn't have his contacts in or his glasses on.
"Well she's talking about economics, a lot of the news here is in Swedish."
"My entire family speaks Korean and we basically only speak Korean at home so even English sounds odd to me right now." He said, finishing up his food.
"I don't think Nina's too used to English either, I can tell that she wants to speak Japanese a lot of the time." Cass said also finishing her food.
"Yea, she's lived in Japan since she was in high school so English isn't really her main language, hell I lived in South Korea partially for a year in high school and English was a super weird thing to hear when I moved back to London."

They continued speaking while doing dishes then leaving to go see Nina and William, they took the bus which was pretty nice due to the fact Cass knew quite a few people on it. When they arrived they walked into the lobby of the large hotel where Nina and William stood with their luggage, Cass offered that they take their luggage back to her apartment so they did.

They spent the rest of the day at the park, sitting near a pond, talking. It was nice before it reached three and they went back to get their luggage and go to the airport. When they got there Cass hugged all of them, except William who said "I swear to God if you hug me you fucking gremlin I'll punt you." Which Nina punched him in the arm for. They spoke for a moment and then Cass wished them all farewell.

"Lyle, I love you." She said looking up at him.
"I love you too, Cass." He said kissing her before walking to his flight.
