Six six six

The devil inside kicks

Looking for a release

Keeps asking, "pretty please?"

You say no

But he argues back

He kicks you again, another blow

And you let him out, just like that

Running amuck around the house

Nobody's home, not even your spouse

The screaming becomes louder and more unbearable

You pray to God, you're pitiful

Because right now he's not making you feel wonderful

You see him standing there

Horns, trident, tail under the fluorescent glare

You want him to leave

He hurts you, making you scream

Out cold on the floor, are you

Darkness, blackness and stillness eludes you

A smile etched on your face

As you reach your happy place

Suddenly light shines in

Blinding your eyes of sin

"She's alive" they proclaim

"Awake" some say

Your spouse is at your side

But you can't yet meet his eyes

He drives you home

Well, at least to someone's home

Unlocks the door and everything comes rushing back

"You" you spat

"You're him"

He nods slowly

And you realise that you let the devil in

And now they're screaming loudly

You can see them

You can feel them

You can fear them
