Hey son, sit down
Come and have a talk with me
While your head's in the clouds
You're free

And you should know
That life was never easy
To defeat these foes
Is never as easy as it seems

Hey son, sit down
I know, you try to smile
But if you need a shoulder to cry on
I'll be here, for a while

Try your hardest my son
Never stop trying
Until you're done
And you can start flying

I've told you these things because
You need to know them and
I found life can do terrible things
So when you need it, I'll lend you a hand
