9/1/15
She says she's been so screwed over in the past
She can longer think to dream that this'll last
She hates that you try
She hates that you fall for it over and over again
She thinks that pain after love comes too fast

He thinks he can change her mind
He doesn't know that she's sick of trying
He's not one to back down from a challenge
He's going to to try either way
He's sure he can convince her that true love isn't hard to find

Now although both of them have seen the signs
The girl denies and ignores the butterflies
The boy comes off desperate
And they're both in quite the problem right now
For no matter how hard he tries, the girl never listens

Behind locked doors, you don't want to meet her
Within closed caskets, her screams can't be heard
But he's unlocking the doors and breaking the caskets
To know and understand the girl as much as he can
Maybe one day, the boy can save the girl from self inflicted darkness forever.
