Thin as Wind

Thin as wind

Upon your skin

Smiling at me

Tormentingly

Tears fall down your cheek

And you constantly taste defeat

You grin anyway

Hoping the mask will stay

Keeping the pain from reaching your face

Tormented with the hurt mask of lace

You never give in but you still do it

Never show the scars but hurt to prove it

Not once feel loved or wanted

Sleeping on your young deathbed

Drink your pain

'Shot eyes again

No more, you can take

This pain is more than fake

Burning your soul and mind

You need a ton more time

Take a breath

Just another step

Pull yourself together

Until you reach the door

Just don't fall

Give life your all

Put up a good fight

Then take away your life

But go from old age

Patch up with the bandages

Blood falls

The pills call

You feel like a fault, an error in the system

The words cut harder still with the momentum

But people lie and cheat this game

This game of life, is never the same

They'll eat at your insecurities and spit you back out

They'll feign their way through and take the bad route

As the villain with the mastermind scheme

Or the antagonist in this bad dream

It seems the torture won't end to you

And you'll never, ever get through

But sit in tight

And live another night
