Mathematical Reasoning

14/11/14
One plus one, dividing
Then cut my love's percent in half
Times it by the lying
And break up the other half

Of my curiosity
Then take away the naive
And add predictability
Create false numbers I can't see

Parenthesis the unimportant things
Ignore the truth
Add the little things
And blame your youth

Put in some algebra
Confuse my "narrow" mind more
(What was her name again? Tamara?)
Put those lies to the power of four

"Oh for Christ's sake, this is getting tiring"
One plus two, disaster
"It's not cheating if you're just admiring"
And I can already taste the failure

There's never a solution or equivalent with you
There's nothing to hide
Take a fraction of the guilt and truth
I guess I just have to cut you down to size

Make you a small numerator
You're part of me
Make me the denominator
But I am not part of you

And just like mathematics
I say "screw you."
