22/12/14
It came rolling in like a thunderstorm
Bare and cold like the winters snow
I made my arrival a quick and short one
Paid the toll and disappeared from sight

Seated on a ride that would only go to hell
The driver's high on death and life itself

A moving prison where we serve short sentences
It's what I await and what we're worth
For a new destination we shall arrive
And a new person our masks shall be
The wheels of us turn with time
In a terrible beast with rules to abide

And as I lay await
Oh yes, I sit in boredom
Awaiting a killer of idle
And sitting aboard while its voice roars
I may pay the toll just to ride it and all
But until then I shall await its arrival
