I went home and went straight up to the bedroom. I saw Jasper reading like always, this time he is reading about conspiracy theories.
"You know they talk about vampires and just completely say we don't exist,but they don't debunk big foot?" Jasper tells me while I go lay next to him in bed.
"really ? That's funny" I say to him. So much things the world doesn't know about.
"How did it go?" He asks me.
"Well it went good" I say smiling.
"You feel sad" he tells me. I feel this way because of Lydia and Astrid.
"It's nothing" it really isn't.
"We said no more lying, come on ,talk to me" he holds my hand.
"Well it's just that, Lydia and Astrid they are wolves" I say , he nods.
"Yeah?" He says.
"And I'm a vampire, i can't be with them, at least not feel the same way I felt with them when I was human" I say, he looks at me.
"Babe that doesn't matter, if your vampire or not you still have that special bond between y'all three. Don't think about it , they love you still" Jasper says, I hug him.
"What could I do without you" I tell him.
"Well darling,I don't know about you, but I will break in millions of pieces" I kiss him, how cheesy and romantic.
"I'll do he same" I say giggling.
"Hey I talked to Edward" as soon as he said Edwards name I rolled my eyes.
"And?" I ask him not really wanting to hear anything about him.
"He wants to apologize" Jasper says.
"Sorry, but no apology accepted" I say to him, Edward crossed the line and he knew what he was doing.
"Violet come on, we are a family" he tells me.
"Yeah family doesn't throw each other towards a tree" I say.
"Darling he was just protective over Bella" Jasper says, I roll my eyes once again.
"Yeah a little over protective" I tell him.
"Darling" Jasper says , I don't say anything and just cross my arms.
"You don't forget people easily, do you?" He says.
"Nope, but I'll only forgive you" I say smiling , he just smirks.
"Give me time, I'll see if I talk to him" I say to Jasper.
"Okay, thanks darling" he says kissing the top of my forehead.
"Now let me finish this book, I wanna see what else they say about us" he tells me. I shake my head, I should call my parents and see what's up with them.
I grab my phone and walk downstairs, out the back door. I dial my dads number , it rings about two times before he picks it up.
"Hello" my dad says.
"Hi dad" I say cheerful.
"Oh hey sweetie" he says through the phone.
"How's New York?" I ask, they've been living there for the past weeks.
"Great actually, Vanessa is now working at this fashion place and me and your mom are doing great with business, what about you darling?" My dad says, what can I say, I can lie about me having a job?
"That sounds great, oh and I'm doing good, I'm having a good time with the Cullen's. I got a job" I say , damn my self conscious got the best of me.
"Really? What job?" He says, now what do I say?
"Um it's a -a restaurant, just outside forks" I say , I'm such a great liar.
"I'm proud of you sweetie, hey i have to go , I'm getting another call and hopefully you can visit us soon, or we'll come to you" my dad says , oh shit , they can't see me like this.
"Okay bye dad , and yeah soon" I say and hang up without a word. I didn't really think about how my parents will react to my new look, specially my sister, she observes everything.
"hey violet " I turn around to see Rosalie holding a fancy box.
"Yeah?" I ask her.
"Someone send you something" she says, I guess be she a confused look and walk towards her. I grab the box of her hands and walk inside the house, she follows me all the way to the living room.
"Who is it from?" She asks.
"I don't know, it's doesn't say anything" the box is covered with dark red and black designs on it. I open the box quickly and see a card in it.
"Violet , we see you've become one of us , welcome to the family my dear.
Sincerely, volturi.
There was a necklace inside the box as well, I guess the volturi does know everything.
"Seems like they enjoy you joining us" Rosalie says.
"Yeah , I didn't think they actually did care" I say , saying the truth.
"Just don't let the volturi know your power , they will convince you to join them" she warns me.
"Got it" I say trying to stamp that in my head.
"I heard volturi" Jasper says running in vampire speed.
"Don't worry brother, they just send her a gift for become one of us" Rosalie explains to Jaspers.
"On, how generous?" He says being a little surprised.
"okay well I'm leaving now,me and emmet have a date, we are going hunting" Rosalie says with joy, I laugh, there dates are really weird but cute.
"Have fun" I say while she runs upstairs.
"I'll take you out soon" Jasper turns to me.
"I'll be waiting" I tell him.
"I heard what you told your dad" he says, stupid vampire hearing.
"I had to lie to him, and I promise I will get a job. Carlisle can't pay for anything and Esme cants do everything in the house , I have to help out too" I says.
"Don't worry darling, Carlisle gets payed enough and Esme is doing fine, it's not like they can retire" Jasper says , we both laugh.
"But still , it seems rude of me" I say trying to be serious.
"Darlin, trust me it's fine" he assures me.
"Are you sure?" I say.
"Positive" he kisses me quickly on the lips.
"I have to go finish my book" he leaves to the room. Again I'm left alone.
