The Notebook

As soon as the door closes behind Fred I scramble out of the clothes I was hiding in and head towards the door. I look left and right to see if anyone is close by, no one is there so I walk casually towards the kitchen where I know the boys will be.

"Hey guys." I say casually

"Hey." They both reply

"So what was you guys doing?" I ask

"I was just retrieving Teresa's jumper and Aiden was helping wasn't you Aiden? Fred reassures

He chokes on an apple he was eating before replying with "uh yeah that's what I was doing."

"Well I will see you guys around." Fred says before leaving the kitchen

"What took you so long?" Aiden screeches at me

"Well Teresa's room is like a pig sty so it took it me a little longer to find it but hey your lying skills are improving." I say  hoping this calms him down

"Whatever he grumbles let's find the rest of the object." And this time he drags me out the kitchen

"The last things we need is a tear  drop and one of the petals from my flower. We already have the petal of the flower but how on earth are we going to get a tear?" Aiden asks

"Easy just stab your eye and a tear will drop." I say flatly before looking at his expression and grinning

"What, me! oh no after what I just did to save our butts I think you should do it this time". He states

"Okay well we could watch a sad movie and once one of us cry we quickly collect the tear." I say

"That is the best idea you have had in a while." he says cheekily. I shove his shoulder in response

"Not the notebook." Aiden cries

"what it's the only emotional movie here. You don't think I would have chosen this if we had another choice." I say dryly

"I don't even recall buying this." Aiden says grumpily

"Maybe someone else brought it with them before everything went crazy ." I suggest

I put the movie in the TV and then sat on my bed next to Aiden. I was so immersed in the movie that I forget Aiden was right next to me. I heard a sniffle and turned my head to see a tear falling down Aiden's face I quickly got a small jar and cupped the tear inside it and close the lid. Aiden quickly regained his composure and said " I wasn't crying , there was some dust in my eye."

"Right but the only problem is that my room is clean and the windows are closed." I tilt my head to the side, amusement swimming in my eyes.

"Whatever we have all the objects now let's give them to Ava." He says quickly

We walk out my room and head in the direction of Ava's room. We step in and her room and has changed into some type of fancy science lab. Where on earth could she have gotten all these things from is the real question. She turns around and gives us a huge smile, we only nod in response.  

"We have all the items." I give them to her. She studies them for a second before putting them in a bowl with some other weird stuff in there. "May I have the flower please?" she asks

"what for?" I ask suspiciously

"All will be explained after I am done." She says

Slowly I give her my flower I just hope she has a good explanation for all of this. I look to Aiden to see he is hesitant about all of this.

After watching Ava conjure up something for Tara's special flower and after many "Shut your eyes" and "Can you pass me that bottle with the purple liquid inside" and after many "Can I have a turn to stir the pot "and continuous "No's." Ava was finally done. She then dips the flower inside the pot and take it out after 3 minutes. Then proceeds to tell us why she well in my terms made us go on a wild goose chase.

"I made you get all those objects and made this simple potion for the simple fact that what ever my ex-master is planning with this flower isn't going to work now because whatever power this flower holds , it doesn't have it anymore so its useless." She says

"But wasn't the flower useless already?" Tara asks

"um not quite, have you ever seen that flower before?" ava asks

"Well no" we say in unison

"Exactly which means this flower has potential powers that we are unaware of." Ava says

"Once we meet your ex-master how do we know that you won't go running straight back into his arms and betray us once again." Tara asks accusingly

"I won't I saw the destruction my actions had before." She says. And for some reason I truly believe her

We steadily walk out of the room and go to our separate rooms to pack. Once in my room I exhale. I don't pack just yet. I look around my room and think about the times when I was alone no mum, no dad, no Tara and no Fred just me and this bed. And now look. So much people. I don't feel sad because I know I will be coming back to this place to start a new chapter with the people that mean the most. I walk out to head to Tara's room and knock before I step inside. I see her dancing around her room listening to Beyoncé formation and I just admire her. The way her hips sway to the beat and her bouncy curls are free and that carefree smile on her face. This is the Tara that I care and love the most and this is the happy Tara that I never got to see. This is the Tara with no walls up. This is the Tara before everything got ruined.

She stops and sees me leaning at her door and immediately bursts out into hysterics and I can't help but join her. "You saw everything didn't you?" she says sheepishly

I mimic her moves to show her that I did. She only laughs before flopping onto her bed. I copy her movements and wonder what she is thinking. But I don't ask because I don't feel the need like I used too. We stare at her beige coloured ceiling for a long time the silence like a cloak but it isn't uncomfortable. After sometime I get up and she does too and she finally starts packing. After 20minutes aka 1 hour we are done. We leave her room hands interlocked and huge grins. We walk to the staircase Ava already down there and everyone else. I see Fred and Teresa and a laugh threatens to spill out my lips but I catch it in time.

I say bye to everyone and then we head out the door and onto mission number 2.

"Where are we going?" I ask ava

"Well when we weren't at his secret location we went to this other place and I have a feeling he will be there." She says

With that we are in my car and speeding off.

both Aiden and Tara's POV are in this so do not be confused. Tara's is italic and Aidens isn't .
