Aiden I do hope you are good at lying

I call ava in to my room after mine and Aiden's make-up session. We are currently discussing what our next step should be. She says that he won't bring anyone for back up. I give her an odd look. She explains that she recalls him being a man who didn't necessarily need help but he just like the look of fear and dread on the victims face when he did have his men by his side. But he's going to come alone for one thing and that is my droopy flower. I nod in understanding. I ask "So what should I do, give it to him?"  "No" "Yes" I hear two voices shout at the same time. The no coming from Aiden whilst the yes comes from Ava. I narrowly stare at Ava but she then begins to explain again.

She tries to explain the pro's to brining the flower such as 1) I seem to not need it as much as I did before. 2) now you know the meaning behind the flower it is okay to not have it anymore. 3) it is the only way to make sure that the man doesn't come after any of us again. I think carefully about all the points made and I nod agreeing with her. I look at Aiden to see if he is on board. He has a small frown etched on to his face which I want to take away with my hands but I refrain.

"What is it?" I ask

"It just that once you don't have this flower that meant so much to you then you don't have a piece of your parents anymore." Concern laced in every word

"I know, but this isn't about me it is about doing what's best for everyone." I say

"So when do we head off." I ask in general

"Well there is one thing we can do so that my ex masters plans don't come to pass before we go" Ava says

"Yes" I and Aiden say like two eager kids receiving treats

"Here's what I will need: a silver rock, soil, one petal from the flower and lastly a tear drop."

I look bizarrely at her; what on earth do all of these objects have to do with anything. Aiden voices my confusion out loud "What are we going to do with all these things?"

"Leave that to me, you just get ready and be prepared to fight if need be." She says sternly

As I and Aiden leave my room I feel excited. Like we are in some sort of adventure/spy book or something. All this training and potions. I grab Aiden's hand and drag him towards the kitchen to grab some containers to put everything in. Then we head off into the direction of the garden where we can easily collect the first thing which is soil.

"Do you think Ava will mind if the soil is a little bit wet" Aiden asks I give him confused look

"I don't think she cares whether the soil is wet or dry, just put some into this container." I say exasperated. He just shrugs his shoulders and continues putting more soil in the container till it is full. I stand up dusting the dirt off my trousers before searching for a silver stone. I then look at Aiden my face lighting up.

"What?" he says confused

"I remember where I saw a silver rock" I say excitedly

"Where?" he asks

"Well you see the thing it is in Teresa's room. I say sheepishly

"How do you know" he wonders

"I must have accidently or maybe on purpose been snooping round her room looking for clues" I say sheepishly

"You did what!" Aiden cries

"I think you are over reacting just a tad bit here, look if it makes you feel better I didn't find anything worthwhile anyways." I shrug

"That's Fred's girlfriend and you know how much Fred trusts me imagine if he were to find this out." he says

"Well we don't have all day reflecting on my actions right now I know where the silver rock is, you can tell me off later." I drag his hand as we walk back into the house. All that you can hear is Aiden's mumbles of what Fred will do if he ever does finds out. I can't help but chuckle at how worried he sounds.

After coming up the stairs with Aiden still whining over what I just told him, we are in front of Teresa's room. I turn to him and tell him to stand guard whilst I go in and retrieve the rock.

"What's the signal?" he asks

"Signal?" I inquire

"You know something to alert you that someone is coming and that you need to hurry up so that we can leave quickly." He says as if I was meant to know.

"Oh well the signal can be you cough really loudly" with that I pat his back for luck because he's going to need it more than me at this point, I really don't understand why he is so worried we have been in worse situations that this.

I open the door and close it quietly behind me. I begin with the draws near her bed but I'm only greeted to little trinkets that do not hold much value. I then go check under her pillows nothing there either, I check her other draws near the window the first two don't have what I am looking for and I might as well add that Teresa isn't a very neat person. I then check the last drawer and I spot the silver rock. I retrieve the rock quickly and I am about to go towards the door when I hear Aiden's signal. Shoot I think. Someone is coming and it's going to look horribly suspicious that Aiden is hanging outside Teresa's room. I just hope that he's good at lying.
