Sunlight shines through the window; I roll over away from it and end up rolling into someone’s arms. What? I open my eyes slightly to see the brown haired cutie. The memory of last night floods my mind, the movie, the nightmare, me asking Ashton to stay with me.

“Morning,” Ashton says opening his eyes looking down at me.

“Morning,” I smile back at him.

“I’ll be leaving soon.” He says wrapping his arms around me, pulling me closer. It was weird, I mean, I do like him, I think, and I think he might like me. It’s like we’re in the in between stage…I’m not even sure.

“Okayyy.” I say dragging out the word. I don’t want him to leave, but I guess if he does then okay. I mean he’s a friend, I think.

“I’ll go make breakfast.” He says and starts to leave.

“No, I’ll go make breakfast.” I say

“Nope!” He says running out of the room in only boxers.

“Ugg fine, I’ll wake up the children!” I say groaning. I actually love waking them up because they’re so calm in the morning. I push open the white door; two beds spread apart by a nightstand are right in front of the door. I walk over to Brynlee and shake her arm slightly.

“Baby, it’s time to wake up.” I say just above a whisper, “Bryn, love, it’s time to wake up.” I say again, her little eye lashes flutter open revealing hazel eyes that I love.

“Morning,” I smile at her; she sits up and rubs her little eyes.

“Morning, Mommy.” She mumbles wrapping her little arms around my neck; I give her a tight hug and kiss her forehead.

“Ashton is downstairs making breakfast if you want to go down there.” I say and she nods slowly climbing off her twin bed.

“Mommy?” I hear her say, “Is Ashhton our new daddy?” She asks still trying to say the ‘sh’ sound.

“I don’t know, baby.” I say truthfully and she walks out of the room, her purple Tinkerbell blanket wrapped around her. It’s always so cold in the morning in this house.

“Bentley, time to wake up,” I say just above a whisper shaking his arm. He opens his eyes and looks at me as he sits up.

“Morning, Mommy.” He says giving me a hug.

“Ashton is downstairs making breakfast.” I tell him and he follows his sister down the stairs. I, instead, decide to clean up their room while they eat, I usually don’t actually eat breakfast. I first make the beds and pick up some loose toys just lying around, then head across the hall to pick up my room. I make the bed, just as I did in the kid’s room, and pick up random objects on the floor.

“Breakfast is ready.” Ashton says from behind me as I shove clothes into a hamper.

“I don’t eat breakfast.” I reply simply as I turn around to fix the pillows on the bed that somehow got messed up.

“It’s the most important meal of the day!” Ashton cries stepping closer to me.

“The most important meal, which I don’t eat,” I repeat stepping into my closet and adjusting the shoes on the floor and picking up clothes that had fell and putting them back on the hangers.

“Fiinneee, I wasted all of this time for nothing.” Ashton groans, pouting like a little kid.

“Nope, you made Bryn and Bentley breakfast.” I say hanging up the last shirt and turning to face him. He takes a step forward and puts his hands on my waist and pulls me into him, I try to resist, but he’s too strong and pulls me into his topless self.
