Chapter 1

Emma'a POV

As I sat down at Granny's diner with my son to my left and my head on Killian's shoulder, surrounded by my family I began to remember the moments I'd had in this town, from bonding with my son for the first time to chasing a snow monster with my true love. And let's not forget the time my baby brother was born.

But what happened today changed everything. You see, my mom had called a family meeting. And when I say family, here's who attended: mom, dad, Regina, Mr Gold, Belle, the dwarfs, Dr Hopper, mother superior, Zelena, Henry, Robin, Granny and Killian.

I have right now, more family than I ever thought possible. I went from an orphan with no place to call home and no family to being surrounded by a whole towns worth of family.

But back to the story. So, we were all sat at the diner discussing events when my mom stood up, cleared her throat and said.

"David and I have some news."

Everyone piped up, including myself, asking many questions and guessing what this news could be. Of course there was the obvious question, is she pregnant and though that idea was quickly shot down there was still a whole load of questions.

"The news is" my dad finally spoke up, "there's a wand. A wand that can open portals, including a portal back to the Enchanted Forest. And, we want to know who would wish to go back there and who wants to stay."

Silence.

Nobody knew what to say. They'd just found out there was a way to go back to their home, the place they'd lived virtually all their lives. And now they have the chance to go back.

"Well, I for one, would much rather live in the Enchanted Forest." Regina said, finally breaking the tension filled silence.

After Regina's words were spoken, everyone announced their agreements and spoke over each other.

"Great, it's decided. Regina and Zelena, maybe you could-"

"Mom, wait. What about me and Henry? Neither of us have lived there, we don't know any thing about it there." I finally said, saying my thoughts.

"Emma, everyone here would be happy to help you learn. And besides, we can't leave you in this town alone." My dad said.

After much deliberation and the pleading face from Henry, I finally said.

"Okay. Kid, let's go home"
