Emma's POV

I had only been awake for a few hours but I am already determined to get free. I will find my family.

This mysterious kidnapper had sent one of his slaves down to me (or up? I have no clue where I am) with food on a wooden tray. All it was was a handful of nuts and berries with a cup of water. Even though I wouldn't want to accept food from this monster, the poppy dust had left me starving. So I ate them quickly and left no trace they were there in the first place.

All I could think about was how I'm going to get out. There was no way for me to get out of these chains and no way for me to get the cuff off.

I was getting so frustrated that I let out a scream, almost like a grunt.

"Hey! Keep it down!" My kidnapper shouted. It sounded like he was just outside the door, he probably was. He probably got some sick enjoyment out of my struggling.

"Maybe if you let me go, I wouldn't be making so much damn noise in the first place!" I shouted back, purposely rattling the chains loudly.

I heard a key unlock and the door swung open, five men walked in and they all looked prepared for a fight.

They walked towards me, all starring down at me like I was their pray and they were the predator. The skinniest one unlocked my left wrist and two men grabbed my arms so I couldn't move. He moved to my right side and did the same.

"What are you doing?" I asked him, confusion clear in my voice.

"Captain's orders" he spoke bluntly.

Captain? Well, I guess that means I'm with pirates.

I was dragged out the door way and forced to walk down many flights of stairs until I was pushed out the main door. I landed on my cuffed wrist and felt it snap. I let out a small cry of pain before anyone else caught onto it.

The bright light blinded me momentarily. I hadn't seen actual sunlight for a while and it burned my eyes. I looked around and saw that I was being kept in a tower near the docks.

"Keep moving" someone spoke before they got a strong grip on my arm and pulled me back up.

"I want to speak to your captain you bunch of dirty pirates" I spat at them.

"How'd ya know we're pirates?" One spoke.

"Your dumbass friend over there told me it was captains orders. And I've had enough conversations with a pirate and his crew to know one" I said to him sarcastically.

"Ah yes, you're the lass who turned Captain Hook soft" my kidnapper said. He was now standing in front of me.

"Captain Hook is the most cut throat pirate to ever sail the seven seas and most definitely isn't soft" I said to him, my voice sounding very matter-of-factly. "And no matter where you take me, he will find me and he will kill you."

"Is that a threat? Because threatening your captain has severe consequences" he told me, his voice lowering.

"Good thing you're not my captain" I smiled sarcastically before lifting my leg and kicking him right in the Crown Jewels. The crew ran to his side to help him without realising they had let go of my arms.

I sprinted as fast as humanly possible with my ballgown still on. I ran until I came to a dead end. I was about to turn around but I was cornered, five muscly men surrounded me. There was no where for me to go.

for a moment, I considered jumping of the cliff but I had no time to act on it before someone had grabbed both my wrists and my legs and flung me over their shoulder.

"Son of a bitch!" I yelled when his grip on my broken wrist was too tight. He started walking back to the captain where I had left him on the floor.

"Where do you want her captain?" He asked. His voice was so deep it made the rest of his body vibrate.

"Tie her to the centre post. She's going to meet the flock" he had a huge grin on his face which told me I didn't want to know what the flock was.
